The Grand Hotel is a 70-room boutique hotel located in Nanaimo’s north end. The hotel is nestled in a natural rock garden that wraps around the Property with beautiful lush foliage, roses, fig trees, herbs and even an olive tree! The garden area is a stunning venue for wedding ceremonies of up to 130 guests. Rooms The Crystal Room The Crystal Room is our enchanting banquet hall outfitted with crystal chandeliers. Located on the ground floor, this 2,400-square-foot room can host up to 150 people banquet style (or up to 300 people theatre style). The Crystal Room is ideal for weddings, engagement and other gatherings and celebrations. The Emerald Room The Emerald Room, our second largest room, is 960 square feet and can host up to 70 guests. With large skylights, this is a perfect room to brighten your medium-sized gathering. We have hosted weddings and various celebrations in our popular Emerald Room.
