Engaging conversations with the Ambassadors, wandering through the exhibits, watching the film, and learning the legends and folklore of Whistler’s First Nations people will create lasting memories for your guests.Facilities and capacityLocated on the main level, the Great Hall can accommodate up to 300 guests for a reception or 150 for a sit-down dinner. Decorating the Great Hall are spectacular weavings, canoes, carvings and windows that look north over Lost Lake. The Istken Hall is a dynamic, round room with a perimeter of windows looking into Lost Lake woods. The ground level, including the Istken Hall and Thunderbird café area, is also available for daytime or evening rentals. This 7,000-square-foot deck floats into the forest and allows guests a view of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Each summer, 2,500 square feet of patio are covered in retractable awnings, creating an outdoor weather resistant event space.Services offeredThe Centre hosts a variety of weddings each year, from ceremonies to dinners and receptions. All types of weddings are welcome at the Cultural Centre, and highly customizable packages allow you to create the special day that you are looking for.
