There is an 1893 Steinway piano in the Parlour that is free for use in any event rental.
Museum china cups & saucers are free for use. Other tableware to be provided by renter.
Our picturesque porches and verandas offer gorgeous opportunities for wedding day photography.
The perfect West End space for your intimate wedding ceremony and reception
Roedde House Museum has six ground-floor rooms for use, including a parlour and dining room which make for ideal reception rooms. Guests and vendors are invited to enjoy and use the first/main floor. The wedding party is welcome to use the second floor bedrooms as dressing rooms.
Two modern bathrooms are located on the main floor for the comfort of your guests. One of the bathrooms is wheelchair accessible.
The main floor can accommodate up to 50 people standing for a reception. We also have 35 chairs for rental use (modern stackable chairs).
For an intimate seated wedding breakfast etc. we can accommodate a maximum of 12 people as we have 12 historic chairs available which fit around the our antique extendable wooden dining room table.
Museum furniture may be moved to fit your wedding event plan. All furniture is to be moved by House staff only.
As the Museum is a historical landmark, smoking is absolutely prohibited both inside the building and on connected porches and verandas.
There are 4 dedicated parking spots in the convenient shared lot behind the Museum.
A modern facility ready for fully-catered celebrations
In addition to our vintage 1890s kitchen, we have a modern kitchen with a fridge, a dishwasher & a microwave — all available for use.
Dining table and chairs are available for use. Tableware is to be provided by the renter.
Renters must provide their own liquor license if alcohol is being served.
Caterers that are familiar with the Museum include: The Butler Did It, The Lazy Gourmet, and Out to Lunch.
A rare, affordable Vancouver wedding venue
For couples on a budget, our rate is $300/hour, minimum 3-hour rental. Rental rates are all-inclusive — no additional fees or taxes.
The rental time must include set-up and clean-up.
A refundable damage deposit is required.
There will be at least one museum representative in the building during the full rental period.
