Built in 1857 from granite quarried directly on the land, Seaman House exudes timeless character and craftsmanship. For nearly two decades, our family has lovingly restored and maintained the home and its surroundings—transforming it into a space where love stories can begin. The venue is rooted in over 30 years of community and connection, which infuses every celebration with a sense of belonging and comfort.

Our 100-year-old Barn, once a family project to create more entertaining space, now serves as a unique and elegant venue for weddings and events. Restored using reclaimed materials, it features rustic details, warm textures, and authentic charm.

We came across the Rockport Barn in June 2021 and booked it at that time for our August 2023 wedding. Over the couple years, Erich and Norm were helpful, responsive and great to work with. With each impromptu visit to the venue, there were new additions. The venue is clean and well kept. What we loved about The Rockport Barn is the convenience of it - we had the venue Friday - Sunday. The rehearsal, ceremony, reception were all in one spot.We couldn’t have had a better venue for our wedding. We came across the Rockport Barn in June 2021 and booked it at that time for our August 2023 wedding. Over the couple years, Erich and Norm were helpful, responsive and great to work with. I have nothing but positive things to say about this location and the owners. The barn itself is fun, cozy and clean. You could host a wedding here with zero of your own decor and it would still look phenomenal. There is multiple outdoor/indoors spaces for a ceremony/reception to take place. Multiple fire pits, gorgeous gardens, a pond, indoor and outdoor seating areas.My best friend got married at the Rockport Barn earlier this week. How many people can we accommodate?
100 people indoors on main floor. 20 lower floor, unlimited space outdoors
Do we offer catering?
You need to have your own caterer or you can use our commercial kitchen.
Do we offer bartending services?
We do have 2 bars on site but you need to obtain your own liquor license. If you want to do your own serving you must have at least one person who has their Smart Serve certificate. We do have contact information for various organizations that offer bartending services and servers if requested.
What is included ?
All tables, chairs, silverware, glassware, wine glasses, pitchers, coffee makers, warmers, beautiful serving platters, some candles and decor (arches) electricity, indoor accessible washrooms on both floors, speakers, bubble machine, donut wall, fog machine, microphones, lighting
Do we offer accommodations?
We offer a bridal suite in the Barn to get ready or spend the night. We also offer the Farmhouse which sleeps 10. We have several Airbnb properties on the same street and there are numerous motel/hotel units within 2-10 minutes drive
Can we recommend a caterer?
We have numerous contacts for caterers that have provided services in the past. Our 30 years experience in the hospitality business has allowed us to be able to recognize reliable quality companies
When can we come for a site tour?
Owners Erich and Normand live on site and are very flexible with property tours. Drop us a message and as long as there is not an event underway, we would love to show you around!
