Amazing view and foodAmazing view and food
Went for afternoon tea, no need to book. We had a fantastic view and the food matched it. We were offered a choice of teas uummm. Then the main event arrived and was a feast to the eyes there was salmon sandwiches, bruschetta, cucumber, too. Then biscotti, shortbread. Next warm soft scones with homemade jam. To finish, an assortment of delicious cakes. Every bite was a delight and the servers couldn't have been nicer. We relaxed, took our time and enjoyed the view.Went for afternoon tea, no need to book. It's the Grand Budapest Hotel of Alberta. Took my wife here 25 years ago for our honeymoon. Returned for our anniversary. The staff made the event so special for us. "You see, there are still faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity. Indeed, that’s what we provide in our own modest, humble, insignificant …" Thank you and I'll see you again. It's the Grand Budapest Hotel of Alberta. Beautiful historic building and unbeatable views! We just stayed the night for our one year wedding anniversary. The town has great candy shops, ice cream, and pubs.
