Whether you exchange vows alongside the garden pond or under the rustic gazebo, you and your guests will be treated to a venue full of natural beauty. Our 1905 heritage home is made available for photographing pre-wedding preparations.
After your ceremony, stroll to the adjacent waterfront to allow your photographer to capture your experience surrounded by stunning west coast splendor, including a backdrop of Mount Baker. Your guests are able to remain on-site enjoying refreshments, lawn games and music before being joined again by Mr. & Mrs.
Your reception can be designed specifically to your wishes; from a fully catered elegant sit down dinner to a less formal buffet dinner to a downright casual yet serviced evening of hors d'oeuvres. The courtyard in front of our charming heritage barn provides ample space for reception and dancing.
Heron Bay Stables offers a local and yet rustic venue for any event. This popular wedding spot is located in Ladner, B.C. and is home to a 11 acre working horse stable operation. We can accommodate up to 150 guests with tents, tables, chairs, flatware, linens, decor, sound system and ample parking. Our horses can be included as transportation and/or photo ops, as can be our 1956 Fargo truck. We only host one wedding per weekend so you have exclusive access to the property for set-up, rehearsal and take-down. All in all, the magic is yours and we take great pleasure in working to make your plans a reality.
The pre-wedding services of our Event Manager and onsite supervision is included with our goal to be as involved in arrangements as you wish. With this in mind, we have partnered with several local vendors to assist with planning your incredible day. This specialized team is available in an a la carte fashion to suite your needs. Our guests were taken away by the gorgeous sunset and horses. I opted for a clear tent and it was a great way to showcase the venue.
