Located approximately 30 minutes north of Winnipeg, Hawthorn Estates is a private country venue combining beautifully landscaped grounds, distinctive character and modern comforts.

What makes Hawthorn unique is its versatility. From a romantic garden wedding or elegant dinner party to a relaxed, intimate celebration, our spaces can be transformed to reflect your style and your wedding.

VENUE RENTAL

Your venue rental includes:

• On-site Hawthorn staff throughout your wedding day
• Fully heated and air-conditioned venue
• Exclusive use of our private, landscaped grounds
• Marriage Hill outdoor ceremony location
• Complimentary rehearsal with Hawthorn staff assistance
• Attached covered Solarium for ceremonies, cocktails and mingling
• Fire pit maintained by staff with Adirondack chairs
• Round reception tables, wood rectangular tables and cross-back chairs arranged to your custom floor plan
• Ceremony benches, head tables and cocktail tables
• Chandeliers, string lights and ambient lighting
• Private bridal room and groom's area with pool table
• Furnished lounges, upper mezzanine and second-level balcony
• Old-world stone fireplace
• Modern washrooms and wheelchair-accessible venue and grounds
• Private guest parking
• Attached kitchen facilities for your caterer

CEREMONY & GROUNDS

Our professionally landscaped grounds provide a beautiful, private setting for ceremonies, photographs, lawn games and outdoor gatherings.

Our signature Marriage Hill includes ceremony benches and an antique signing table and chair.

If the weather doesn't cooperate, our attached Solarium, with remote-controlled clear drop-down sides, provides a beautiful covered alternative for your ceremony, cocktail hour and mingling.

An outdoor microphone, speakers and sound system are also available.

MORE THAN ONE SPACE

Hawthorn offers a variety of spaces for guests to enjoy throughout the day — from Marriage Hill and the Solarium to our reception area, lounges, mezzanine, balcony, landscaped grounds and fire pit.

Your celebration can naturally move from ceremony to cocktails, dinner and an evening around the fire.

MAKE HAWTHORN YOUR OWN

Hawthorn has character before you add a single decoration. Wood details, chandeliers, our stone fireplace, antiques, ambient lighting and surrounding greenery create a warm backdrop that can be dressed up, kept beautifully simple or transformed into something completely different.

We also offer a collection of décor and rental pieces to help personalize your celebration.

Your wedding doesn't have to look like every other wedding held here. We want it to look like yours.

BAR & BEVERAGE SERVICE

At Hawthorn, you have the flexibility to purchase and provide your own alcohol, giving you greater control over your selections and budget.

Couples are responsible for purchasing their alcohol and obtaining the required liquor permit.

A FEW MORE DETAILS

Kitchen: On-site kitchen with two stoves, large refrigerator, microwave, sinks and preparation space for your caterer.

Gratuity: We do not charge an automatic gratuity. Tipping is entirely at your discretion.

RESERVING YOUR DATE

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date.

One-half of the venue rental is due six months prior to your wedding, with remaining balances due according to your Hawthorn Estates agreement.
