Cranbrook History Centre is a luxurious wedding venue in the heart of 319 acres of the historic campus. At Cranbrook History Centre, you get to work with the dedicated event coordinator, assisting you during the event planning process.
Facilities at Cranbrook History Centre
Cranbrook History Centre has several event spaces for your memorable wedding day:
- The Royal Alexandra Hall: Features an elegant interior and adjacent commercial kitchen, the most common options for weddings at Cranbrook History Centre; capacity: maximum: 280 guests, dining capacity: 184 guests; dining and dance capacity: 128 to 152, depending on the dancefloor size;
- Reception Hall: Suitable for buffets and plated dinners; capacity depends on your chosen style
- Palm Court: Bar close to the wedding halls
- The Solarium River Rouge Car: Suited for smaller, intimate receptions and ceremonies
The washrooms are close to the main entrance and reception hall. The venue is wheelchair accessible and has a central elevator.
You can host a wedding ceremony in the Royal Alexandra Hall or adjacent halls.
Included in your rental for the ceremony and/or reception are:

Additional services and amenities at Cranbrook History Centre, available for a fee, are:

Flexibility at Cranbrook History Centre
At Cranbrook History Centre, you can bring third-party wedding vendors, including caterers, decorators, entertainment, etc.
Keep in mind that even though Royal Alexandra Hall includes some kitchen facilities, tableware and chair covers aren’t included.
