Compass Rose Suites

 Our weekday and weekend packages include full food flow (cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, late night), full open bar, rentals, coordination, officiant, planning, decor and staff. These prices include HST and gratuities. It is a fully inclusive package so the only thing you'd have to bring in yourselves would be hair/makeup, photography, florals and any music. Children 5-12 are $100/person as are vendors who require a meal. Kids under 5 are free!

We offer three different packages: weekend, weekday and elopement. All our packages are fully inclusive but our elopement package is a bit more streamlined for up to 25 guests. Our weekday package is from 25-80 guests and our weekend package is from 80-200 guests.

We are a unique venue set on 100 acres of fields and forest. We have two beautiful outdoor ceremony sites in nature but also have all the modern amenities in our barn, tent and modern farmhouse. We have accommodations for up to 12 people on-site in the farmhouse and you can also host your rehearsal dinner on-site, making your event stress-free. We can also host camping or glamping guests through our glamping partners Glamping 2 U. We are a small family-owned company and the three owners will be your main contacts to ensure your special day is flawless :)

You will likely be working closely with the owners of Compass Rose: Caroline, Cameron or Nick, as we are quite hands on and are on-site for most weddings :) You will also be working with the Hawley Crescent team, located in Whitby, as they are responsible for the catering, planning, rentals and staffing for our events. Our packages are very integrated between the two teams so we will all be on your final meeting and you will meet most of the main team.

98% of our wedding guests come from outside Prince Edward County, so we have an extensive vendor list of different options for accommodations and transportation. The Hawley Crescent team and your planning also helps coordinate all these logistics with you. Besides the 12 guests that can stay in the modern farmhouse, we also working with a glamping company so that more guests can stay on-site. We've had up to 15 tents on-site before (additional fees may apply) so can host an additional 30-40 people in tents.

We do have the option to use Compass Rose as only the venue and it would just be the venue fee of $24,000 plus $65/person for our in-house bar package. In this case we would not provide catering, rentals, planning, decor, officiant, staff, etc. and you would be responsible to bring those items in yourself. If you go this route we strongly recommend hiring us or Hawley Crescent as in-house coordinators. Although we do 98% of our weddings with Hawley Crescent who provides catering, staff, rentals, décor, planning and day-of-coordination, we do have a preferred vendor list we can provide to you with some vendors we have worked with in the past.
