The Algonquin Eco-Lodge is a in a stunning location for an eco-friendly micro wedding. Secluded, deep in the forests of Algonquin Park, the Lodge has a private lake and a private waterfall that is a spectacular spot for wedding photos. The waterfall also provides all the electricity for this off-grid Lodge.
With a capacity for 30 people, the Lodge has an outdoor "carbon neutral" hot tub and sauna, 30 km of hiking trails, and a huge variety of activities. Your wedding guests are sure to have an unforgettable time. The unique wedding experience starts for your wedding guests with a scenic 2.5 km (25 minute) walk through the forests of Algonquin Provincial Park to get to the Lodge (don't worry, their luggage will be transported for them!). Canoeing, swimming, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding are just some of the options available to adventurous guests! With its private lake, cascading waterfall, and thick forests, you would be hard pressed to find a more naturally beautiful spot on the planet.
The wedding packages are designed to bring you and your spouse closer together, as well as building camaraderie between you and your guests. Since all wedding packages are for 3 days/2 nights you get to spend some quality time with all your guests. Think of it as a local "destination wedding". And, since there is no wifi or cell service, it is also a Digital Detox getaway. Instead of staring at phones or responding to emails, your guests spend time playing board games, or roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories around the campfire. Since everyone is staying overnight you don't need to worry about any guests drinking and driving home.
The wedding packages include exclusive use of the Eco-Lodge and facilities, some wildflower bouquets, and the accommodations and meals for the pair of you. Your guests will pay (or you can choose to pay for them) for their own accommodations and meals at our normal seasonal rate. There is a 2 night minimum stay. Once you pick a package we can assist with you choosing a photographer, officiant, and wedding cake designer.
The sheer majesty of the region, back-dropped by century-old white pines, will be symbolic of your long and happy future together. We have several Algonquin Park wedding packages to choose from, all of which include complete use of the wedding facilities and staff.
When we saved a Covid wedding! Two days before the ceremony the bride and groom, and half their party, contracted Covid and were self quarantining. The other half of the group came and had a party, and we were able to reschedule the wedding for later that summer! Everyone had a great time, and appreciated the efforts we went to in order to make the ceremony happen.
