Alberta Aviation Museum

The Alberta Aviation Museum offers a unique venue for your special day! Take a step back in time and enjoy a vintage setting for your wedding or photoshoot. The museum is located inside a historic airplane hangar in the Blatchford community of Edmonton, Alberta. Built in 1941, the hangar was used as an aviation training center during the Second World War. Great passion and enthusiasm have gone into creating and maintaining this space, with its precious displays which can be reflected in your very special wedding photos. Facilities and capacity Alberta Aviation Museum has a variety of spaces that can be used for wedding celebrations and ceremonies. The Event Hall - can hold up to 400 wedding guests and is equipped with a stage perfect for live music, speeches, and other performances. The Museum Gallery - ideal for a smaller wedding celebration or a simple ceremony, can hold up to 100 guests. The gallery floor provides the perfect layout to walk down the aisle and creates a unique backdrop for wedding photos. Services offered The museum provides table and chair rentals. You are welcome to bring wedding services of your choice to the Alberta Aviation Museum and we will facilitate you as much as possible. Free parking!
