We were devastated with the snap lockdown announced on the Friday and with no warning at all it meant we had to cancel out wedding again. The idea came with moving the wedding to the Friday evening meaning we only had 4 hours to plan our wedding. The staff at Hotel Bellinzona went above and beyond to ensure we had our wedding and we can't thank them enough.Hotel Bellinzona are absolutely amazing. Unfortunately they had an issue with the internet on one side of the building so they moved us to another room without hesitation. The young lady who helped us was amazing! She totally understood how important it was (as a sole trader) and moved us, even helped with our baggage. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. Every wedding at Hotel Bellinzona is special, but one that really stands out was a magical autumn celebration — the leaves were golden, the fireplaces were crackling, and the couple had live acoustic music playing in the gardens during golden hour. Guests stayed the whole weekend, soaking up the beauty of Hepburn Springs, and it felt like one big, love-filled getaway.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Stay true to you. The most unforgettable weddings we see are the ones where the couple’s personality shines through — whether that’s through music choices, quirky signage, or a surprise dance number! It’s your day, and it should feel like a reflection of your story together.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We once had a couple create handwritten notes for each guest, placed at their seat during the reception. It brought so many happy tears, and created such an intimate, heartfelt moment in the middle of a big celebration. Those small, genuine touches are what guests remember forever.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are so many beautiful photo opportunities across the property, however I am partial to a vintage-style shot in our Lobby Bar. With a couple of drinks in hand, it's full of character!

We’ve certainly had our fair share of well-known faces sneak away for some Hepburn Springs serenity — but discretion is part of the charm here. Whether you're famous or just famous to us, we treat every couple like royalty.

We love showcasing the region’s beautiful produce in every season, and our chefs have a knack for crafting menus that feel both indulgent and beautifully local.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Picture this: your guests gathered around a crackling firepit under the stars or curled up by the fireplace indoors, hands wrapped around mugs of rich, velvety hot chocolate.
