Up to a 120 guests may attend your reception - more for a cocktail event. We also have a mini wedding package available for up to 30 and micro weddings packages that a ideal for a wedding with 50 peaple.

You will need to source and liaise with your own suppliers. Melbourne has a huge range of wonderful wedding professionals. We have a very good list of suppliers who are all moderately priced but highly skilled professionals: Djs, MCs, Celebrants, Photographers, Cake Makers, Florists etc.

The first step is to contact us and request a tentative booking. This holds your preferred date for up to two weeks without any payment, giving you time to confirm that the date and venue suit you. Come visit Avalon Castle and completed an inspection with one of our wedding coordinators. If you are unable to come in person we can do a whats app tour. We can provisionally hold a date for you for 2 weeks If we haven’t had any other interest in that date by the end of the 14 days we can extend the hold for you but if we do have another couple interested in the date then we will ask you whether you would like to book or release the date at the end of the 14 days. Once you are ready to book your wedding with Avalon Castle a deposit needs to be paid and terms signed.

We host food tasting events throughtout the year. If this is something that is important to you, we have a expression of interest waiting list, that you can go onto and then when we have our next food tasting evening we will invite you to this.

Yes, you can. Many of our couples do benefit from having a ceremony rehearsal. These take place at Avalon Castle, Most rehearsals last for around 1 hour while we are open, but you will need to book this in. A rehersal are a great way for everyone that are involed with the ceremony to have the practise of walking to the ceremony where they will be or standing or sitting. We most certainly do. These days, we are all a lot more informed and we understand the food dietaries are incredibly important. No only do we cater for various dietaries such as vegans, vegetarians etc, but we go to great lengths to ensure that they are attended to. Food allergies (also) should be advised early.

Children aged between 5 to 12 are charged at $50ea . Toddlers and babies 4 years old and under are $20 if they require a meal.​

Professional suppliers who are working at the reception venue and have been working for more than three hours will require a meal. This is charged to the couple at $50. All professional vendors are seated on the mezzanine area and this price only includes soft drink, we do not permit suppliers to have alcohol whilst they are working.

Avalon Castle onsite accommadation is always available for you and your guests for the night of your wedding. You can choose to hire the Castle Cottage the night before or after your wedding. If available, this is heavily dependant on other wedding bookings. this can be determined 6-8 weeks before your wedding. Some conditions do apply

Yes you do we are here from the start of the day. We are here to make sure everything is setup and ready for your big day. At ceremony time your wedding coorinator is here to help you get down the Aisle. At this time you event manager is also here to help you get down the aisle to make is as steam less and stree free as possible.
