Wyresdale Weddings is a charming countryside, barn & manor house wedding venue located in the Forest of Bowland. Estate cottages and old coach houses provide accommodation for both the night before and night of your wedding. Lawns, lakes and woodlands are all on hand for timeless photos, providing picture perfect backdrops for your drinks reception.
Although this romantic gem is adored for its tranquil atmosphere and scenic beauty, it is well-connected to major cities thanks to its proximity to the M6.
The Wyresdale estate has undergone some incredibly exciting changes for 2025... New outdoor developments include a beautiful walled Ceremony Garden, where you can say 'I do' with the rolling fells of the Trough of Bowland as your backdrop and a stunning Reception Garden with oak pavilion, outdoor bar and a lawn for outdoor games.
ONSITE ACCOMMODATION
All accommodation is located just a stone’s throw from our rustic wedding barns, allowing all of your closest friends and family to stay with you on either the night before or night of your wedding. Take a look at our accommodation options here:
The North Wing, night before your wedding (sleeps 6) - part of our grand manor house, showcasing many of its original features that exude traditional charm – perfect for you and your loved ones to enjoy on your wedding day. The North Wing boasts three spacious double bedrooms, a roll-top bath, walk-in showers, a large kitchen/diner and a cosy wood-panelled drawing-room.
The Lodge, night before your wedding (sleeps 6) - A timber clad cabin that sits close to the North Wing. It will provide accommodation for up to six, with one king-sized bedroom, one double and a twin. The Lodge also features a lounge and kitchen area for guests to enjoy. Set in the woodland, with views across the park, The Lodge is the perfect place for your wedding party to spend the night before your wedding.
The Honeymoon Suite, night of your wedding (sleeps 2) - Accessed from the South Lawn gardens, you’ll enter into a private, panelled drawing room, cosy and perfect for a glass of champagne after your long day. Connected to this,via a sliding door, is your master bedroom, with super-king luxury bed, high ceilings, ensuite bathroom, walk-in shower and beautiful lighting.
The Coach House, night of your wedding (sleeps 8) - Four ensuite ground floor bedrooms available the night of the wedding. These bedrooms are located in the estate’s historic Coach House, with original panelling and beautiful beams. Adding these bedrooms into the wedding venue will allow you to have 38 friends and family to stay onsite.
Keeper's Cottage, night of your wedding (sleeps 6) - Keeper’s Cottage is the perfect hideaway for some of your nearest and dearest. Located next to the Orchard Glampsite and just moments walk from our rustic wedding barns, the cottage features a light and spacious open plan kitchen/dining room, three king-sized bedrooms (one with the option of a twin set up) and a separate shower room and bathroom – with a luxurious roll-top bath.
The Orchard Glampsite, night of your wedding (sleeps 20) - Our Orchard Glampsite features ten wonderfully rustic yet luxurious yurts for your guests to enjoy on the evening of your wedding. In contrast to the rest of our traditional accommodation, the yurts are a fun and unique spot for your guests to rest their heads. All yurts are raised on timber decks with heated king size beds (sleeping two guests), phone charging facilities and have access to a fully fitted kitchen, beautiful dressing room, lavatories & showers.
The Nook, night of your wedding (sleeps 2) - A cosy and luxurious hideaway for your nearest and dearest to rest their head. The Nook is tucked away right next to your other guests in The Orchard Glampsite – perfect for that hidden hideaway without missing out on all the fun!

The coordinators were so lovely and very helpful in the run up to our big day - a special mention to Jaydi and Heather who helped ensure the day ran smoothly, always reassuring us and just made sure everything was super special. The venue is just beautiful, everything we could have wished for and more. There’s so many great places to get stunning pictures and the separate barns add a unique touch along with the fantastic We booked Wyresdale Park for our dream wedding and it did not disappoint!! The wedding coordinators are so brilliant, they made the whole day run smoothly we didn’t need to worry about a thing all day. I cannot recommend this venue enough!We got married here in May 2023. We couldn't have asked for a better day and everything went to plan. The staff did the set up, food and drinks were incredible and the grounds were beautiful. I’d always wanted a venue that could sleep my nearest and dearest for a couple of nights, to make a lovely short holiday for everyone! Im so glad I came across Wyresdale! The freedom they gave us to organise our day as we wanted was great, no confinements! Responsive in answering questions and our wedding coordinator was lovely! We want to go back and do it all again! Better than we could have imagined!! I’d always wanted a venue that could sleep my nearest and dearest for a couple of nights, to make a lovely short holiday for everyone! We had THE most perfect day and that’s down to each and every one of you. We were originally due to get married in May 2020 and then September 2020. We didn’t have any stress at all as you provided us with constant reassurance that we would get the day of our dreams when our time came and you didn’t disappoint. Whenever we had a query or needed anything at all in the build up, you got straight back to us and nothing was ever too much trouble. When we first came for a look around Wyresdale we were blown away as were our guests when they shared our special day with us on Thursday. Venue with the wow factor. We loved how you just allowed us to tailor the venue to our liking but supported us every step of the way, giving as much support as we wanted but leaving us to get on with it in the way we wanted too. The perfect balance The recommended suppliers were amazing, Bluebells and Daisies, Striped Pig, Loft and last but certainly not least, Jo Bradbury. We will be contacting each of them separately but wanted to thank you for pointing us in their direction. They all supported you in making our day as fabulous as it was. The weather was looking a bit dodgy in the morning but even that didn’t bother us in the slightest as Tamsin was straight over with our plan B option to stop any panic creeping in (car to take us over). It wasn’t needed in the end but knowing there was an option was great. Gemma and Tamsin got us all organised and I’ll never forget how calming Tamsin was when we were waiting outside the ceremony barn. She just made sure we focused on what was important, enjoying every single minute of it The whole team were great, the bar staff couldn’t do enough and the team of cleaners who all supported us the following morning to clear the barns were great. An absolute credit to Wyresdale. Not forgetting too, all that will have gone on behind the scenes to ensure we had the day that far exceeded our expectations. Well where do we even start!! Cannot believe this was a whole weeks ago, the time has flown by. All our guests were blown away by the venue, it truly is a special place and we cannot wait to come visit again with our dogs for a walk and to visit the café and shops and to keep our wedding memories alive. Wyresdale Park is simply incredible. The venue itself is the perfect backdrop to add your own touch no matter how creative you want to be. You could do nothing to it and it would still be perfect! The locations for pictures are endless and our photographers were blown away by how pretty it all was. The yurts on site are gorgeous and our wedding party loved being part of the experience heading off the their warm beds at the end of the night. The chosen caterers had something for every type of style and budget from a formal sit down meal or sharers and pies. We went for feasting boards of meat and sides which the guests are still talking about now months later! And then there’s the team…Tamsin was our wedding coordinator and was just brilliant. She was chilled and calm and super helpful. From planning to the day itself, everything was so smooth and I didn’t feel the need to panic or stress. One of my bridesmaids put it perfectly ‘she kept everything in control and on time without being a d*#k!! We all loved her!
