Wyresdale Weddings is a romantic barn and manor house wedding venue nestled within the breathtaking Forest of Bowland countryside. Surrounded by rolling fells, lakes and woodland, the estate combines rustic charm with elegant styling to create a truly unforgettable setting for your wedding day. Lovingly restored heritage barns provide beautiful spaces to exchange vows, enjoy your wedding breakfast and celebrate long into the evening, while cosy cottages and historic coach houses offer luxurious onsite accommodation for you and your guests.
Despite its peaceful rural setting, Wyresdale Weddings is conveniently located close to the M6, making it easily accessible from major cities across the North West and beyond.
The Wyresdale estate has undergone exciting developments for 2026. The White Barn now features stunning glazed oak doors, a sweeping staircase entrance, elegant chandeliers, underfloor heating and beautiful new flooring throughout. Outdoors, couples can say “I do” in the new walled Ceremony Garden, with the stunning Trough of Bowland as a backdrop, before celebrating in the Reception Garden complete with an oak pavilion, outdoor bar and lawn games area. The glazed Atrium offers the perfect setting to dance beneath the stars late into the night.
Facilities & Capacities
Wyresdale Weddings offers a collection of versatile event spaces, each full of character and charm. The Ceremony Barn provides a beautiful blank canvas for your ceremony, retaining many of its original barn features and accommodating up to 140 guests. The striking White Barn, with its soaring ceilings and exposed oak beams, creates a stunning setting for your wedding breakfast, while the contemporary Atrium offers a vibrant space for drinks receptions and evening celebrations for up to 200 guests.
Onsite Accommodation
All accommodation is located just moments from the wedding barns, allowing your closest friends and family to stay together throughout your celebrations.
- The North Wing (sleeps 6) – Part of the grand manor house with three spacious double bedrooms, a roll-top bath, walk-in showers, large kitchen/diner and cosy wood-panelled drawing room.
- The Lodge (sleeps 6) – A timber-clad woodland cabin with one king-sized bedroom, one double, one twin room, plus a lounge and kitchen area.
- The Honeymoon Suite (sleeps 2) – A luxurious retreat featuring a private drawing room, super-king bed and elegant ensuite bathroom.
- The Coach House (sleeps 8) – Four ensuite ground-floor bedrooms within the estate’s historic Coach House.
- Keeper’s Cottage (sleeps 6) – A spacious cottage with open-plan living, three king-sized bedrooms and a luxurious roll-top bath.
- The Orchard Glampsite (sleeps 20) – Ten rustic yet luxurious yurts with heated king-size beds, dressing rooms, showers and shared kitchen facilities.
- The Nook (sleeps 2) – A cosy and luxurious hideaway beside the glampsite, perfect for close family or friends.
Additional accommodation is also planned for 2027 and 2028.

From the very first time we visited, we absolutely loved it and knew straight away that it was where we wanted to get married. The venue is beautiful, with stunning décor and design choices throughout, and having everything all in one place made the day so easy for both us and our guests. The team were amazing from start to finish. Communication throughout the planning process was fantastic, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Every question we had was answered, which was especially reassuring for me as someone who worries a lot! A special mention has to go to Jaydi, who was incredibly organised and helped us so much during our coordination meeting and with the set-up. She genuinely cared about our day and made everything feel so much easier. Saskia, who coordinated our wedding day, was also wonderful. She was so friendly and reassuring, helped calm our nerves and made sure we could just relax and enjoy the day. On the morning of the wedding, the team brought our vision to life perfectly. Everything looked even better than we had imagined, and we were honestly blown away when we saw it all. The day itself flowed so seamlessly, with very little waiting around, and our guests have commented on how smoothly everything ran. The different spaces also worked brilliantly, giving everyone plenty of room to mingle, chat and enjoy themselves. The biggest compliment we can give is that the team allowed us to just enjoy being married. They took care of all the little things behind the scenes and removed so much of the stress that comes with getting married, meaning we could be completely present and enjoy every moment. We genuinely could not fault Wyresdale Park. We are so grateful to the whole team for everything they did to make our wedding day so special and memorable. Wyresdale was the only venue that he suggested viewing, and I fell in love instantly. The booking process was easy, and communication leading up to the day was simple. The team on the day of our Wedding were incredible. They were so easy going and not intrusive what so ever. The setting for the whole day was absolutely gorgeous! Coming through Scorton village over the motorway bridge, head down Long Lane and look out for the sign on the right which reads Wyresdale Home Farm. Please follow the road all the way around to the car park at the back of the venue. Head towards the barns and we will be waiting for you in the barn.

How many people can the ceremony seat?
Both the ceremony garden and the chapel is registered for 140 people, however this needs to include registrars, photographers, videographers, musicians and a member of our staff
What's included for the Wedding Breakfast?
Round tables, chairs, table cloths, crockery, cutlery and glassware are all included
What time do we have to vacate the barns?
Last orders will be called at 12.30am for a 1.00am finish
What are the dimensions of the barns?
The White Barn is 7.8m x 13m
(if you require a larger space and include the alcoves it is 7.8m x 18m)
The Chapel is 6m x 16m
The Atrium is 16m x 9.4m
Is there anyone to help on the day?
A wedding coordinator will be on hand throughout your day to ensure your day runs smoothly. They will be here before your ceremony right up until your first dance
Amount of deposit required?
For venue-only bookings the deposit is one quarter of the hire fee; wedding packages vary according to each package. Additional charges include a £150 all inclusive grounds fee (including boat and lake) and £500 refundable damage deposit – please contact us for details
How many people can the Wedding Breakfast hold?
We have round tables and chairs to seat a maximum of 144. If you would prefer trestle tables you will need to hire these in, we can seat a maximum of 144 on trestle tables also.
How many guests an stay on-site?
For 2027 we can accommodate 18 the night before and 46 the day of your big day.
For 2028 we can accommodate 24 the night before and 50 the night of your big day.
What can I do the night before my wedding?
Enjoy an intimate pre-wedding dinner shared with your closest family and friends, a truly special moment to gather before the celebrations begin. With on-site accommodation, everyone can relax and stay together the night before. Take time to unwind, raise a glass, and savour the excitement of the days ahead, surrounded by the people who mean the most to you. Room Hire: £300 (2027) and £325 (2028)
Are pets allowed?
We are a dog-friendly venue, however if they are staying onsite overnight this will incur a fee to cover the deep cleaning following the stay. Dogs are only permitted to stay in the North Wing and Keepers Cottage
