FAQs

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

It’s impossible to choose just one, because every wedding here feels special in its own way. But there’s something truly unforgettable about a late-summer ceremony with golden light spilling through the oak beams, wildflower meadows in bloom, and the barn glowing with candlelight for the evening celebration. One of our most memorable moments was a groom arriving by helicopter, surprising the guests as he landed in our grounds the excitement, the laughter, and the magic of the day are exactly why we love what we do. Every wedding at Beeston feels like the best one yet.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Enjoy the journey as much as the day itself. It’s so easy to get caught up in the details, but some of your favourite memories will come from the planning moments together

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

One of my favourite touches was a couple who wove their love story into every part of the day from tables named after milestones in their relationship to a surprise video from family overseas played just before the first dance. It was emotional, personal, and such a beautiful reminder that the most unforgettable weddings are the ones that truly reflect the couple’s journey.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

Every corner of Beeston offers something special, so choosing just one is nearly impossible. In spring, the bluebells make the most magical backdrop. The blue shutter doors and rustic old machinery add character and charm, while the gate overlooking the rolling countryside is a timeless favourite. And of course, those sweeping views over the fields at golden hour are truly unforgettable

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Of course, after over 15 years as Lancashire’s top countryside venue, we’ve welcomed our fair share of famous faces… but we don’t kiss and tell. Every couple at Beeston gets the same warmth, privacy, and personal attention — whether they’re on the front page or just the most important people in the room that day

What’s your favourite canapé?

We couldn’t possibly choose just one! Amy’s favourite is the chicken poppadom, Aaron’s is the rich and indulgent pâté brioche, and Jenny swears by the mushroom, garlic, and thyme arancini. The truth is, whatever you choose, the canapés always get rave reviews (and disappear quickly!)

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Our favourite midnight treats? The hog roast is always a showstopper juicy pork, crackling, and all the trimmings. But we can’t forget the classic pork swirl barm with chips. After hours on the dance floor, hearty food like that is exactly what everyone wants

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Beeston Manor’s most unique feature is that it was built by our family, from the ground up, in the heart of 140 acres of Lancashire countryside. Every beam, stone, and view is part of our heritage. It’s not just a venue it’s a place created with care, designed to feel like it was always meant for moments like your wedding day

What part of your business are you most proud of?

We’re most proud of the fact that Beeston Manor is truly a family-built, family-run venue. Every wedding here is personal to us we’ve poured over 15 years of care, craftsmanship, and heart into making it a place where couples feel completely looked after. Seeing our couples’ faces light up on their wedding day will always be the most rewarding part of what we do
