Holland Hall, set in the picturesque village of Upholland, is an idyllic rural retreat with stunning views surrounded by woodland and countryside. The 17th Century Grade II listed building has been sympathetically modernised to create a contemporary venue, whilst retaining is period grandeur. The original Holland House, built in 1654, remains a central part of the present-day hotel. With attractive gardens, providing a stunning backdrop for those all-important wedding photographs whatever time of year. Natural daylight floods the contemporary designed Garden and Terrace Suite, allowing your own styling however simple & elegant or extravagant & bold you wish to be. The sunlit terrace and surrounding grounds provide endless opportunities for your forever photographs.With accommodation for guests and a luxurious Honeymoon Suite for the happy couple. Holland Hall premises are approved and licensed to conduct Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships, Holland Hall is an LGBT+ friendly wedding venue. With experience of hosting multi-cultural weddings, our Events Team are sensitive to religious and cultural requirements. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

It's hard to narrow it down, but I have to say one of my favourites was when storm troopers turned up to arrest the groom and he was rescued by the avengers! Definitely a day to remember!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Organisation is key, a planner/organizer or notepad and pen will be your best friend, in ensuring no detail no matter how small is missed.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

The personal touch that sticks in mind the most was a wedding cake. The bride actually made it herself and it had so many intricate and uniquely personal details as in their pets and things they both loved but subtly executed.

Beautiful, Tranquil, Spacious ,Light and unique

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

I personally think our lawn at the front, both during the day and after dark when the festoons are lit.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We were proud to host Mo Salah last year who plays for Liverpool and he had a private magazine photo shoot and interview with GQ Magazine

What’s your favourite canapé?

It's hard to pick just one, but i would have to go with the baked mushroom filo money bag

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

A slice of our delicious fresh homemade pizza

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The old manor house front door which dates back to 1654

What part of your business are you most proud of?

I am proud of how the venue has grown and improved and that our team and our couples are more like extended family
