- KKirstin & David05/11/2025A Day to rememberA Day to rememberFrom our initial meeting with Lorraine, to our wedding day, and our planner Jade, our experience could not have been any better. All the staff we encountered at Woodhall Manner are polite, helpful and knowledgable. They are as much invested in making your day the best it can be as you are. I had no idea what I wanted for our wedding but once we visited Woodhall Manor we knew this was it. The idea of having the whole venue to ourselves rather than at a hotel where there are other guests definitely sold it to us. I must admit I was daunted in the beginning but as the time past and things dropped into place due to the seamless planning from the Woodhall team, I was so relaxed it was unbelievable. The food choices for both day and evening are extensive and the ability to upgrade allows for greater choice if needed. All of our guests commented on how good the food was and also the speed at which it was served. All tables were eating the same course at the same time. The quality of the wines and champagne were exceptional and again the bigger the budget lots of choices to upgrade to. The day itself was so relaxed. Jade was amazing in keeping everything to time, getting me to the ceremony on time and even took some photographs for me when I came down the stairs as none of the bridal party had their phones and I chose not to have a photographer. Jade was there the entire day and was back early the next morning ready to see us off. As a bride having Jade on the day was amazing. Prior to the wedding, the team were incredible at being available to contact with our questions and queries, offering to support with the little things (like ensuring there was a mini fridge available to store milk for my little nephew) to the big things (like helping us decide on timings, decor and activities). The whole process from booking to the day was easy, joyous and reassuring. Many people questioned when the wedding worrying or stress would kick in, it never needed to because of how fantastic Woodhall was! The day itself was incredible; despite the rain, it was a truly magical day. The team were so accommodating and adaptive with the shift in plans due to the weather and allowed us to see the day out exactly as we dreamed it would feel.
