The Granary Estates

We could not have been happier with the Granary Barns as our wedding reception venue!! As soon as we saw it we felt it was exactly what we had in mind and the deal was sealed by the reassurance that the team were extremely professional, friendly, and on the ball. Any questions we had along the way were answered promptly and we were able to lean on the Granary team for advice if we were ever unsure of anything regarding supplier recommendations, layout for the day etc. - they were always very flexible and we are so grateful for that and their expert input. In the lead-up to the wedding and on the day, Megan was a complete star!! She was always calm and collected and ran the day to our timeline like clockwork in the background, managing any last-minute adaptations to the plan (brought on by gale force winds!) like a pro, meaning we were able to get on with enjoying our day without having to worry about anything else! Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives and this is in no small part due to the stunning location and Granary team. We are so grateful and would highly recommend the Granary Barns to anyone.

We honestly can't praise the team at Granary enough. The grounds are beautiful and always so well kept! The team helped us out with anything and everything, from our first visit, to our final planning meeting. They were always so responsive, on top of things, professional and friendly. On the day, Alice made sure we kept to our timings and the day ran smoothly. She kept any issues away from us and dealt with them amazingly. The day went perfectly and was everything we'd ever dreamed of! We can't thank them enough for bringing our wedding vision to life. Our table arrangements were exactly as requested and everything ran like clockwork. If you're looking for a wedding venue, look no further. Thank you Granary!

We feel so lucky to have had our wedding at the beautiful Granary Estates! It was the first venue we viewed and after visiting others, we knew we weren't going to find anything else that would compare. The venue itself is stunning with so much space, potential and options for extra touches such as lighting to make it unique to you. We loved the grounds and the stunning courtyard as well as the different rooms to accommodate lots of guests (even on a rainy day!) We chose to get married in the Granary Barn and the photographs from this were everything we had hoped for. We stayed in the cottages on sight the night before and they were the perfect place for getting ready the morning of the wedding with a special room ideal for hair and make up. The GG girls are the most fabulous team and our wedding planner Alice was an absolute star - she honestly made the whole planning process and the day itself run so smoothly, we couldn't have asked for anyone better. So many of our guests commented on the venue on our wedding day. We are so happy we chose Granary Estates for our wedding day and would recommend it to anyone in a heart beat.

Thank you so much for everything you and the team have done for us, regarding the day and the last 2 years in planning everything. I honestly cannot thank you enough. We had the most magical day and it was everything we wanted and more. Wedding blues - I didn’t stop crying yesterday all day haha, it was a combination of feeling so overwhelmed, so much love and certainly a lack of sleep! Words cannot cover how incredible lucky we feel to have found Granary Estates! We had the most incredible day at this beautiful venue, and cannot thank the team enough for all they did for us. My husband and I had our ceremony at The Granary Estates on 11/09/2022. The venue and grounds are just stunning, and have always looked beautifully presented and maintained every time we have visited. Parris and the team were amazing from start to finish on our special day. The communication throughout the whole process of planning up until the day has been faultless. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue and professional, friendly team to ensure our day ran smoothly.

Absolutely stunning venue, with beautiful surrounding grounds. We had an intimate ceremony in the flint barn followed by drinks on the lawn and dinner and dancing in the granary barn. The most magical day. All the staff were amazing, no request was too much trouble. The whole process with them was easy. Would 100% recommend.

Having waited four years between choosing Granary Estates and our wedding day, the venue did not disappoint, however, we have to admit that we were disappointed by the staff running Granary. Over the four years (one of many covid couples), we were passed around the events team and feel this lead to several communication issues. Here are some things to consider when booking Granary Estates; evening music needs to finish at 11.30pm, music is not allowed to be played outside in the courtyard for your drinks reception (we had an acoustic musician and was not informed she couldn’t play outside until we were in our drinks reception!); the cottages are lovely, although a little basic and some essentials are missing and on the small side for 6 guests per cottage; if providing your own playlist make sure songs are in the order you want to play (you are not allowed access to the ipad to play a different song) and you may need to contact the venue yourselves to arrange meetings. The Granary staff are super enthusiastic about all your wedding ideas but when it comes down to it, they were not as well organised as we expected from a venue with that price tag. When relaying this feedback to the staff, we were made to feel as if these (as well as other issues which I haven’t mentioned) were because of us rather than the venue taking ownership and responsibility. If we had our time again, we would still have chosen Granary as it is a stunning venue, however, feel future couples should be made aware of these aspects when booking.
