Located on the outskirts of Woodbridge, Suffolk (and just a 20 minute drive from the centre of Ipswich), our magnificent grounds, unique reception rooms and exquisite guest suites provide a stunning setting for your big day, and behind the scenes, our expert team, talented chefs and knowledgeable sommeliers will work tirelessly to guarantee a celebration to remember.
Every wedding at Seckford Hall is unique and we love working with our couples to ensure that every small detail is taken care of. Our Great Hall, which is also licensed as a ceremony room, overlooks our beautiful lake allowing for some beautiful photo opportunities while you say your ''I do's''.
Our grand Manor transforms into something straight out of a fairy-tale, with plenty of bespoke options to bring your own personal ideas, themes, styles and personalities to life on your day.

- KKirsty & Zach22/11/2025Best day of our lives 🧡Best day of our lives 🧡We got married at Seckford Hall on the 31st of October, and everything was absolutely perfect — the day felt so special from start to finish. We supplied some of our own decorations, and the staff displayed them beautifully. The venue looked incredible — exactly how we had imagined it. The ceremony ran perfectly, with the team guiding us through each step and keeping us well informed throughout. The food was outstanding, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. The bar was impressively stocked with a wide range of options, and the staff were even happy to order in anything extra we wanted. The hall for the evening reception was just right, with plenty of space for everyone to dance and enjoy the entertainment. We booked Flame Entertainment, who came highly recommended by Seckford Hall, and we were so glad we did — they were fantastic. A special mention goes to Yav, the event manager, who looked after us so well from the very beginning of the day right through to the end. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating — nothing was ever too much trouble. He made sure everything ran smoothly, kept our glasses topped up, and even checked on me in the bridal suite throughout the morning to keep me updated and ensured me and the bridal party had everything we needed. The bridal suite itself was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to get ready. Breakfast was even brought up to the room on the morning of the wedding so the bridal party could relax and enjoy the start of the day together. We can’t recommend Seckford Hall highly enough — whether for a wedding or just a lovely evening with great food and beautiful surroundings. Thank you to everyone who helped make our day so seamless and unforgettable. The whole planning team were excellent leading up to the day, and Georgia was a star on the day, so organised but also chilled and fun. We were blessed with a sunny day and the grounds looked beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Lots of our family and friends stayed at the hotel and spoke highly of their rooms. Our honeymoon sweet was so beautiful we didn't want to leave.We got married at seckford hall last Saturday. We also stay at Seckford Hall at least twice a year. We have stayed in standard and superior rooms, the Tudor suite and the bridal suite, all rooms are up to a very high standard which ever one you choose. Our Victorian Bandstand, wild gardens and stunning Manor backdrop make the perfect spot for photographs – we also can’t resist the romantic, spell-binding snaps taken on our wooden, Monet-inspired bridge over the lake.

What is your venue's most unique feature?
Being draped in Tudor history has huge advantages when it comes to using our versatile spaces to suit intimate ceremonies for two, to grand celebrations for up to 140 guests. Around every corner of Seckford Hall you’ll find a small piece of history, telling stories of our ancestors some 500 years ago. Queen Elizabeth I has also stayed in the Manor, during the tenure of Thomas Seckford in the mid-1500s.
