The Tudor Barn Belstead is surrounded by seven acres of landscaped informal wooded grounds, so providing a beautiful backdrop for your wedding or enough space to set up marquees if you want to host more people. There is also space for outdoor games, fire pits, firework displays and anything else you can think of! We are happy to help you create the wedding that you already have in your mind or provide inspiration if necessary.

- FFlo and Tom31/08/2025Perfect wedding dayPerfect wedding dayThe Tudor barn is such a wonderful venue even without any decorations. It is such a beautiful place. The staff are really friendly and have helped us throughout leading up to the wedding on our wedding day we had the wonderful Zandra Cobley who was our Coordination Team member for the day she is such a kind person and makes you feel so comfortable and at ease with the day running smoothly. We would both highly recommend the venue to anyone thinking about getting married and thank you so much for helping us with our day. We also wanted our dogs at the ceremony which was such a good place to have them as we had lots of different grounds for photo’s and for the dogs to feel comfortable. At night all the lights come on which makes the place look really magical as the weather is warm. Such a stunning barn with plenty of outside space to use which was very much needed with temperatures of 28+ on our Wedding day. Henry was very helpful from first contact of arranging a visit until the day of the wedding. Being able to set up the afternoon before and collect belongings the day after was definitely an added bonus - We did book Louisa to co-ordinate which made these days even easier! I will never have the words to describe what a beautiful venue this is! Thank you so much to Henry and Valerie from TTBB and all the additional supplier's whom we had the pleasure dealing with for making our wedding day such a special day! 🥰 Adam and Zoe Easter!We fell in love with The Tudor Barns from seeing pictures through the website. As a couple who are enjoying our mid life I can say that with the benefit of experience, TTBB was without question the most perfect venue for our wedding. The staff are fantastic, the barn itself is beautiful, the setting is second to none. Every single one of our guests shared the same opinion, this is a hidden gem. There was no aspect of Henry’s baby that we thought ‘I wish that was different’ or ‘if only they had that’ , this place has the lot and it just ‘works’ perfectly. I will be suggesting to my now wife that we renew our vows in the future and I will be booking TTBB for it just to go again !! Thank you Henry and team Simply the best venue for our wedding. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional, thanks in huge part to Henry, the owner. His communication was amazing throughout the entire planning process - always quick to respond, incredibly helpful and kind. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and it was so clear how passionate he is about both the barn and the couples who get married there. We also want to give a special mention to Clare, the events co-ordinator, who was absolutely fantastic. From helping us rehearse our aisle walk to guiding us through all the little details, Clare made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Her calm, organised, and friendly approach really helped us feel at ease and enjoy every moment. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - full of charm, character, and beautiful features throughout. We completely fell in love with it from the first visit, and on the wedding day, our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how beautiful everything looked. She was so easy to get on with and felt like I was chatting to my friend, she just understood what we were talking about all the time! I was worried about not upgrading our package, but I didn't need to worry at all, she made sure everything flowed and nothing was forgotten about. She also dealt with me changing and adding things on the day too and just took it all in her stride! The guys on the bar were great, the bar was never too crowded and no one had to wait for a drink either, they also dealt with me going back and forth to the kitchen to steal desserts and cake. Henry and his staff (special mention to Clare) were so welcome and took away the stress of managing the day itself. Henry would always reply to questions / concerns or would be at the end of a phone call no problem. Think gorgeous beams, a little bit of delightful wonkiness and all bathed in beautiful lighting. Clare was our coordinator extraordinaire and and thought of everything - absolutely invaluable particularly on the day itself, we can't thank her enough. Our experience and our day at The Barn was exceptional, and we encourage anyone planning their wedding to go and have a look around - you won't be disappointed. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
It’s hard to pick just one, but a recent favourite featured undercover singers disguised as waiting staff who burst into song mid-meal – the guests were stunned and the atmosphere was electric! Moments like that remind us how creative and joyful weddings can be.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Trust your suppliers and don’t try to do everything yourself – choose a team you click with and let them take the pressure off. The day goes so quickly, so focus on being present and enjoying every moment.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One couple created a ‘family tree’ photo display, hanging framed pictures of generations of weddings from both sides of their families in the barn. It was such a beautiful tribute and a powerful reminder of love through the ages.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The meadow to the west of the barn is a photographer’s dream – especially at golden hour. With wild grasses, soft light and those sweeping Suffolk skies, it creates the most romantic, natural backdrop for unforgettable shots.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We’ve had a few familiar faces pass through, but we’re sworn to secrecy! Let’s just say, Suffolk is full of surprises...
What’s your favourite canapé?
You can’t beat a mini Yorkshire pudding with rare roast beef and horseradish – it’s a classic for a reason.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
A sizzling late-night Pad Thai always goes down a treat – comforting, full of flavour, and a great crowd-pleaser after a big dance session! We love that it’s easy to offer veggie and vegan options too, so everyone’s included.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our 16th-century timber-framed barn, lovingly restored by our family. It has such warmth and character – you can feel the history in every beam.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
That we built it together, as a family. I was closely involved in the project from start to finish and took on a lot of the work myself, but it was very much a team effort. It’s incredibly special to see the space now filled with love, laughter, and memories being made.
