Weddings at Wilde Lodge includes exclusive use of the venue for up to three nights, guaranteeing privacy and tranquility. The Main Lodge sleeps 14 and features thoughtfully designed rooms that combine the traditional feel of the house with contemporary touches.
Next to the Main Lodge is 'The Long Barn' which is a converted rustic space to say 'I do' in front of 90 seated guests or simply to use to party the night away in. The barn can be transformed into a chill out area, cinema, dance floor or cocktail bar, the choice is completely yours!
Our 'Open Barn' is the perfect social space for welcome drinks and canapés with views spanning over our neighbouring ponies, or for an evening chilled space subtly lit up to take in the events of the day.
Finally our Wilde Safari Tent, a fabulous marquee nestled within the old barn walls, complete with its own bespoke 16ft bar, is the perfect dining turn dance area for all your guests to enjoy.
From the dining room in the Main Lodge, ideal for more intimate family meals, to the riverside perfect for wild swimming, Wilde Lodge is full of secret gems. The large gardens and grounds allow plenty of space to create beautiful Bell Tent Villages so all your guests can have a luxurious glamping experience and your wedding can extend beyond the day and turn into a full weekend celebration.

A wonderful site set over 15 acres for you to enjoy for the whole weekend. Our venue hire includes:
• The main 6 bedroom house (which sleeps 14), fully furnished and stocked with bed linen, and all the usual house amenities.
• The long barn. Beside the main house, there is a long barn, measuring 20x5m. Ample space and a fabulous place to have your wedding ceremony (for up to 90 guests). The long barn can also be used as a place to have an evening meal (for up to 50 guests) or as a bar or dancing area later on in the evening (for up to 100 guests standing).
• The safari tent. Nestled between the old barn walls is our bespoke dark green safari tent with a 16ft solid oak bar.
• The main walled garden in front of the lodge is covered in fairy lights, south facing, and the perfect place to play lawn games or lie on a sun lounger and soak up the surroundings.
• The main field as you approach the front of the house, overlooking the woods and fields beyond. It is roughly an acre and can be used for our bespoke bell tent village, camping or as a games area.
• Access to the riverside, which is fabulous for drinks, pre wedding dinners, swimming in or just for some tranquil time out.
Prices depend on the day of the week and year. £4,200 would include a 1 day mid-week wedding in 2026 (Tuesdays & Wednesdays). £5,500 would include a 2 day 2 night mid-week wedding in 2026 (Tuesday-Thursday). £7,500 would include a 3 night weekend wedding in 2026 (Friday-Monday).
For 2027, our 1 day mid-week hire price (Tuesdays & Wednesdays) is £4,800. £5,800 would include a 2 day 2 night mid-week wedding in 2027 (Tuesday-Thursday). £8,650 would include a 3 night weekend wedding in 2027 (Friday-Monday).

We knew we wanted somewhere that felt like a home away from home, a place where all our guests could stay on-site and where we could truly make a wedding weekend of it. Jemma showed us around and answered every question we had. Her love for Wilde Lodge shone through, she genuinely cares about the venue, the staff, and making sure each couple’s day is exactly how they’ve dreamed it to be. Jemma introduced us to Jess, our amazing wedding coordinator, and from the very first call we knew we were in safe hands. Her passion and excitement for bringing our day to life made the entire experience so special. The house and surrounding countryside are absolutely breathtaking and provided the most stunning backdrop for our wedding photos and video. There was plenty of space for both the bridal and groom parties to get ready separately. It became a fun little game trying to avoid bumping into each other before the ceremony! One of the many reasons we loved Wilde Lodge was their warmth and flexibility, from serving custom his and hers cocktails to welcoming our puppy along to the weekend, which truly made the day feel complete. The staff were incredible from start to finish. They were super friendly, helpful, and always one step ahead. They helped us set up the day before, taking so much stress off our shoulders, and during the wedding itself they made sure everything ran seamlessly. As soon as we walked out of the ceremony, we were greeted with a glass of bubbles and even handed our own tray of canapés while we mingled with guests, such thoughtful touches that meant so much to us. They even signed our guestbook at the end of the night! At the end of the night, the team were quick to tidy up and lit the fire pits so we could sit under the stars and enjoy one last drink before heading to bed which was a perfect end to a perfect day. We had our ceremony in the Long Barn, which was already beautifully decorated with fairy lights and ivy woven through the beams. It had such a natural, earthy charm that needed very little extra decoration. The Safari Tent was ideal for moving from dinner to dancing, and the turn around was quick and seamless whilst we cut our cake. Jemma and her staff know the venue so well, they made it feel like we were the only ones there whilst effortlessly catering and transitioning the space throughout the day to perfectly flow with our plans. The Open Barn offered a lovely, relaxed space to chill and chat, and the next day it became the perfect spot for our post-wedding braai with guests who stayed over in the cozy Hels Bells tents. We loved that the venue had garden games for cocktail hour too, it kept everyone entertained and laughing while we took our photos. Wilde Lodge is truly something special. The location is breath taking, the lodge is beautiful with so many different spaces to use, and the option of staying the night before with our nearest and dearest was something so special that we will treasure forever. But, the staff are really the cherry on top. Nothing was too much trouble. From planning with Jess to our day with Emma, everyone worked so hard to make sure we had the day of our dreams. We couldn’t have asked for a friendlier team. Our guests had a blast, and they have been so complimentary of the venue and staff. From start to finish, everything about this venue felt magical and completely stress-free. Our ceremony took place in the beautiful Long Barn, followed by drinks on the lawn with the most stunning views. Guests enjoyed an amazing meal in the Safari Tent, and the evening ended in the most relaxed way, gathered around the firepits with family and friends. The staff were outstanding. and Jess, our wedding coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. She made the whole experience, from booking through to the big day, completely effortless for us, and we couldn’t be more grateful. One of the things we loved most was having the venue for the whole weekend (Friday to Monday), which gave us time to really soak it all in and enjoy it with our loved ones. Being able to bring our two dogs along made it feel even more personal and special. We particularly loved the venues relaxed vibe but with all the support from an experienced wedding team! With the help of the staff at Wilde Lodge, in particular Jess; we were able to create a wedding day that felt so true to us as a couple, with the flexibility to curate every little detail uniquely to our tastes and the freedom to incorporate many DIY elements. We were blown away with how helpful the staff at Wilde Lodge were. Form helping us upon arrival the evening before unloading and setting up decor to the non-stop work throughout the day of our wedding, making sure everything went to plan, brining our vision for the day to life. The staff took care of so many jobs for us making the day stress free and so enjoyable! Emma our coordinator for the day was a delight to work with, going out of her way to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day and that our guests had the best experience. All the guests commented on how great the staff were and how smoothly the day went, with even stewards meeting guests at their cars upon arrival with umbrellas once it started to rain! The in-house catering by CSons was also a highlight of the day, with a delicious and unique menu selection we were able to organise through the venue, making the wedding planning stage that much more hassle free! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Although we love all our weddings, one of the best was with a lovely couple who started with an intimate dinner on the day they arrived, got up and went for a walk and a swim with their loved ones, truly making the most of the countryside. The morning after their big party and plenty of dancing, the guests woke up, had a game of croquet in their pyjamas and dinned on a big BBQ lunch! Seeing the bride, groom and their guests being able to relax and make the most of the venue is what we love most.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try not to overwhelm yourself. There's a lot of social pressure around weddings, but focus on what truly matters to you and your partner. Also it’s a cliche but just enjoy it! From finding the right venue, to picking out suppliers, take everything one step at a time & fully embrace the process.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our most recent couples had a love for literature and had a book swap set up in our long barn where guests were encouraged to bring a personal favourite read to swap and share with other guests. It was lovely to see guests get involved in the gesture and take a moment to share the interests of the Bride and Groom.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are so many glorious spots, but we have seen some amazing photos taken down by the river at golden hour with the beautiful welsh hills as the backdrop. But we are also very lucky to have our rustic barns which make a great feature in our photos too!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Not just yet, but our doors are open!
What’s your favourite canapé?

What’s your favourite midnight treat?
It would have to be toasted marshmallows on our fire pits outside the barns. It is a perfect midnight snack to keep you toasty next to the fires to give your feet a break from dancing all night long!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our most unique feature would have to be the beautiful grounds that we are set on. On 15 acres of land which is all available for you to use throughout your whole stay for games, family walks, photos and everything in-between, this would have to be our most unique feature. They also allow us to hold bell tents for up to 100 guests to stay on site, lit up beautifully with fairy lights.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The way my husband and I have built this business from the ground up! When we first took over the Lodge it required a total renovation that we did ourselves, which we have constantly been building upon since then. To be able to watch couples and guests arrive and enjoy the site that we have given our time and hearts to is the best part about what we do!
