It’s your day – and every couple wishes for a unique and memorable experience that they and their families treasure forever. But if planning your big day is something you’ve dreamed of all your life, then we firmly believe in bespoke. From the moment you book with us, our wedding co-ordinator will be available to interpret your requirements and discuss the finer detail to design your perfect day. As an independent family run venue, we have flexibility in abundance, and so can create the wedding you have always wanted, whether that be afternoon croquet on the lawns or a full evening casino in the marquee, sweetie carts for the little (and big!) kids or your very own photo booth to capture the moment. Our years of experience mean that we have an address book brimming with experienced and trustworthy contacts, spanning caterers, florists, photographers and all manner of entertainers, plus our own exclusive fleet of liveried Estate vehicles is at your disposal. It’s a big occasion…so we appreciate that you may have a myriad of questions. We’ve helped many brides and grooms build their perfect wedding so we’ve compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions which we hope you find useful. Pencoed House Estate is fully licensed for civil ceremonies & partnerships and reception celebrations typically take place in our opulent Old Hall. For larger wedding parties we also offer a range of marquees to house 120 guests upwards on the immaculately manicured lawns overlooking the woodland. Our Bespoke Venue hire:
*The Friday and Saturday Peak tariff includes the use of the Luxury Gate House for the night before, for a maximum of 10 guests and the Honeymoon suite and Estate Guest cottage for 8 guests for the night of your wedding.
Exclusive use of Pencoed House Estate based on a maximum 120-day guests for the Old Hall and 140-day guests for the Cwrt Clive area. Maximum of 210 guests for the evening.
Access is available to set up from 9.00am on the morning of your event for all suppliers,
Fully licensed bar,
Wedding co-ordinator and Master of Ceremonies on duty for day of event with set up management for your decorations and take down at the end of the night,

Set in an idyllic setting in the heart of the South Wales countryside. I have had the pleasure to photograph many weddings at Pencoed House and the staff have always looked after me when I am there. With the addition of the glass pergola there lots more areas to mingle with your guests during the drinks reception plus if it rains there a lot more areas for pictures. As you can book packages with the venue, a lot of the stress is taken away from you as you don’t need to fuss over choosing a DJ, caterers, florist etc. That suited us perfectly - a few less things to worry about - but equally, every supplier works with you and makes sure you get what you want for the day. Jamie looked after us during our day, and made sure everything ran so smoothly. He didn’t stop all day! The evening shift staff were awesome too! There aren’t any words to describe how glad we are that we chose Pencoed House, or how grateful we are to all the staff. Beautiful venue, grounds, rooms and people. So many of our guests commented on how wonderful and fun everything was. We could not be happier. Thank you again!
