Pencoed House

We cannot recommend Pencoed House Estate enough - it was the perfect venue and they couldn’t have done more for us. We got married in February and the grounds / facilities were spotless. All the personal touches, impeccable organization and regular check ins made our wedding experience incredible and stress free. A special thank you to Jenna for looking after us from the moment of booking and then heading over every small detail to Darren who looked after us amazingly on the day.

Pencoed House was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The day was amazing and the venue is so beautiful, particularly the grounds. We loved the different but closely linked areas which meant that the people having a huge party could dance the night away, but the people who wanted to catch up with old friends could sit in the covered courtyard. We had the day of our dreams at Pencoed House. The staff were so helpful, the venue is enchanting, and the accommodation is so handy and comfortable. Every single person I have spoken to has said it was the best wedding food they have ever had, so a special mention to Duncan and the team at Cresta Caterers! It felt like a home from home. The people were incredibly friendly and supportive. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was outstanding! Rooms stunning. Cosy and clean. The only fault we could find (& we struggled to find one) was that the dj music only played in the main room not y cwrt So guests weren’t able to hear music and come up and dance if they liked the song playing.

My husband and I got married at Pencoed House on 29th January 2023 and we honestly had the best day ever. From the moment we booked we had constant support from Darren, Jamie, Jenna and Chelsea (and others). As you can book packages with the venue, a lot of the stress is taken away from you as you don’t need to fuss over choosing a DJ, caterers, florist etc. That suited us perfectly - a few less things to worry about - but equally, every supplier works with you and makes sure you get what you want for the day. Jamie looked after us during our day, and made sure everything ran so smoothly. He didn’t stop all day! The evening shift staff were awesome too! There aren’t any words to describe how glad we are that we chose Pencoed House, or how grateful we are to all the staff. Beautiful venue, grounds, rooms and people. So many of our guests commented on how wonderful and fun everything was. We could not be happier. Thank you again!

We got married at Pencoed House last week and we can honestly say that it was in the most perfect venue. The team at Pencoed House were so professional and made every effort to ensure we had the perfect day. My husband Brett and I had to contact you to Thank you for organiding our son Rhys's most incredible wedding last Wednesday. Everyone without exception had a magical day supported by your team of extremely dedicated staff; nothing was too much for them and everything was done with a smile! Darren was really attentive all day long and an excellent Master of Ceremony. The food was incredible, there was plenty of everything! The evening was fun, and we all danced and partied the night away! The fireworks were such a wonderful surprise to compete a perfect day. We are so proud of Rhys, he loves his new wife Sherron so very much ( as do we!) and your venue was the perfect place for them to declare their love and share their day with the people who mean the most to them. Hello, Gosh where do I start. I really want to thank you for everything that you did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble for you in the build up to the wedding despite all the emails that we send you always had a way of keeping us relaxed and of making it enjoyable. It never seemed like we were bothering you and you were always extremely professional throughout. On the day Darren was amazing. He made sure the day was just how we envisioned and he made us feel completely at ease. He again was extremely professional throughout and made sure we just completely relaxed and enjoyed the day. Our guests were extremely impressed by the professionalism and commented on how stunning and well run it was as a venue. There were comments made about how 'perfect' the venue and the day was and everyone throughly enjoyed themselves. We literally had the time of our lives!! We visited Pencoed House as we happened to be passing one weekend, we hadn't booked an appointment but were welcomed to have a look around and we were shown the brochures and wedding packages. The team were incredibly welcoming and the venue was so beautiful we knew straight away this was the place! We were one of the many couples who had to reschedule our wedding date at Pencoed House during the pandemic. The staff were extremely helpful and quick in responding to all our many questions and what if's. When our date finally came around, it was definitely worth the wait!! The staff on the day were fantastic - so professional but friendly and approachable for all our queries. The venue itself is beautiful and we had so many compliments from our guests. We stayed the night on site and we didn't feel rushed out in the morning and the team made a conscious effort to wish us well and have a chat with us about the day before. If you are considering Pencoed House as your wedding venue, I would suggest visiting as the venue just sells itself and I could not recommend it enough to any future couples!!
