- EEmmajane and Darin19/08/2026One Amazing venue, All Staff and a very special WeddingOne Amazing venue, All Staff and a very special WeddingThe truth is, we only went to Llangoed Hall to see what an 'Our of our Budget' wedding would look like. But it wasn't out of budget, they had different options available and all of them were amazing value. My now husband and I are a bit quirky (apparently) and didn't want the usual wedding. Morgan the Events manager was onboard with everything from start to finish, and as for being flexible...even on the actual day when the DJ/friend turned up at 12 instead of 4, within 5 minutes Morgan had another table setting ready for him to join the Wedding Breakfast - The DJ obviously planned that well haha. I've honestly never been anywhere where every single member of staff were genuinely happy to be part of making your day special, even down to helping my aunty down some steps after she broke her leg three weeks before the wedding. The venue is well maintained and obviously well loved and every guest was wowed by it. There's plenty of grounds and things to do so there was no need to pay for any extra entertainment and plenty of Photo Opportunities throughout. The rooms are superb, the breakfast, Afternoon Tea and evening Buffet was all fantastic and everyone said it was the best wedding that they have ever attended. We had the choice of an inside or outside wedding...there are several rooms available for the ceremony...we actually chose both as we weren't sure what the weather would be like, but still wanted my friend to play on the grand piano that they have, as I walked in... So once again Morgan was ready to change anything if needed. As it was, the weather was fantastic, I walked down the stairs and entered the Ceremony room to cheers and Calon Lan playing on the grand piano, and then we all went to the 'Bowling Green' outside for the actual ceremony. I highly recommend for all your wedding needs and desires. If you are planning a Wedding definitely talk to Morgan and you will see for yourself how amazing they all are. The ambience of this Gem of a hotel is relaxing and sophisticated this hotel and its historic building is truly Wales’ finest and not a chain insight! I highly recommend! After checking in to our wonderful Room with the most gorgeous views, we sat in the gardens and had a cheeseboard and a few glasses of wine All of the staff were professional polite absolutely immaculate in appearance with wonderful warm smiles and a sense of humour The food was lovely as was breakfast A big thank you to MORGAN keep doing what you're doing. The children were also well catered for and were entertained with the garden games and hedge maze. We stayed in the Paultons suite which was beautiful and had amazing views of the garden and surrounding fields. We wish we’d stayed the night before to really make the most of it. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to support us when we needed. Management were really flexible and helpful in discussing our budget and our requirements for the day, there was a lot more they could offer in terms of smaller packages than I found on the website, so always worth going and meeting the team to discuss what you want. - RRachel & Mike11/05/2026Amazing Wedding ❤️ - March 2026Amazing Wedding ❤️ - March 2026During our first in person meeting with Morgan, she completely reassured us of our decision to pick Llangoed & that she would help us create what we visioned for our day. She was also up to date on everything already agreed & she even suggested things we hadn’t even thought of! Due to a change in chef, we were also provided with a second taster which we were grateful for. The day before the wedding we were allowed to setup the rooms, Morgan herself was there to help unload the cars and she pitched in where ever she could. Our actual wedding day went perfect, Morgan and the team bent over backwards to make our day as special as they could & we can’t thank them enough. Ellen was extremely helpful to my partner and I by making sure we ate and had plenty to drink throughout the day. The food was fantastic & really well portioned, thank you Vicky the new head chef! From booking the wedding to our actual wedding day we could see a massive difference in the venue itself. The new team had come in and made a lot of changes, all for the better. The rooms & venue had undergone an extremely good clean, a lot of the furniture had been reupholstered, new carpets had been laid in some of the rooms & even new curtains had been put up. Can we get married outdoors?
Yes. You can exchange your vows outdoors against the beautiful backdrop of the Welsh countryside. Our grounds offer a wonderfully romantic setting for an outdoor ceremony and photographs.
Do you offer small and intimate wedding?
Yes. We welcome intimate weddings of up to 30 guests, perfect for couple wanting a more personal celebration with their closest family and friends. Smaller weddings don't include exclusive use, but we'd be delighted to discuss the options with you.
Can we use our own suppliers?
Absolutely! We welcome couples choosing their own suppliers so you can create a wedding that reflects your personality and style. We also have a list of trusted recommended suppliers if you'd like some inspiration.
What's the best photo spot?
Our historic stone entrance steps are a favourite for wedding photographs and create a beautiful setting for your confetti moment. The gardens and surrounding countryside also offer plenty of stunning backdrops for couple, family and wedding party photographs,
