Our newly refurbished venue, Wild Thyme & Honey is comfortably nestled on the same footprint as The Crown at Ampney Brook, our Great British Country Pub. A short drive from Cirencester in the heart of the Cotswolds, our venue is easily accessible for you and your guests travelling from afar, yet feels a million miles away from the flurry of everyday life. The magical Ampney Brook Bridge and tranquil surroundings create a picture-perfect backdrop. Guaranteed to capture your heart and the imagination of all your guests. Our stunning contemporary function spaces include The Wild Thyme & Honey Event Suite, The Secret Garden Room and The Courtyard, all of which have been created with your special day in mind.

There is nothing more romantic than delicious food and drink with your favourite people. This is your special day, so it’s only right the menu is exactly how you envisage. Our award-winning culinary team are committed to creating exquisite dishes using the finest locally sourced ingredients and will guide you in creating a unique menu. Once you’ve shortlisted your courses, we’d love to welcome you for the all-important menu tasting (we’ll even offer a selection of wines to accompany your dishes.)

We offer 24 bedrooms, presenting Riverside & Waterside Suites, Ampney Hill & Ampney Hill Deluxe Rooms (with a selection of these being interconnecting and dog friendly). The entire weekend was absolutely incredible and we could not have wished for a better day. The day ran so smoothly and that was all thanks to you. We are still in our wedding bubble and we just don't want it to end. The staff were also just absolutely fabulous so please thank anyone that was working this weekend, the food was also INSANE and we have had so many compliments! Was it the easiest booking process, no, there has been some staff turnover which made us nervous and 3 different wedding planners along the way which caused some challenges, however Connie who was with us for our meal tasting and ran everything on the day was a star! I checked in the night before with my bridal party and had the most relaxed evening in the London Road Suite. With the hot tub We had our wedding here in June and could not have been happier with how the day went. Georgie (our coordinator) was brilliant in making sure our day ran perfectly and made our vision of the day come to life. We stayed in No3 London Road (the bridal/honeymoon suite) and it was the perfect place to get ready with my bridesmaids - the space has been designed for wedding prep and my make up artist had the perfect natural light. What is the booking process?
If you wish to proceed with your wedding day with us, we would require a £1,500 deposit and signed contract to confirm the booking. With staggered deposit scheme to follow.
Are your bedrooms dog friendly?
Yes, all of the ground floor rooms are dog friendly, dogs are charged at £30 per dog.
