Our pricing is clear and straightforward. Simply choose your season and preferred day of the week from the venue hire pricing table on our website, ranging from £4,000 - £10,000. Food and drink menus can be mixed and matched to suit your plans. Dining starts from £40 per person, including staffing, service, and tableware. Drinks packages start from £36 per person but are not mandatory. The minimum spend at Water’s Edge at Ewen is £15,000. This includes the Venue Hire fee and pre-ordered Food & Drinks on your wedding day. We had our beautiful wedding day at Waters Edge on Thursday 27th August 2026, and wow… what a day it was from start to finish! We first visited Waters Edge after getting engaged at the end of 2024. After our initial viewing with Will, we instantly knew this was the venue for us — we didn’t even feel the need to look anywhere else! The fact that it’s family-run and private makes it feel so special and personal, and the grounds, with the beautiful lakes, are simply stunning. One of the things we loved most was having access to the venue the day before the wedding so we could set everything up ourselves and really settle in. I spent the evening there with my mum and my girls, and it was such a lovely and special way to start the wedding celebrations. The morning of the wedding was honestly so calm and special. All of our suppliers commented on how amazing the venue was and how helpful and welcoming all of the staff were. We did unfortunately have a bit of a downpour around 12pm, but it didn’t matter at all and certainly didn’t stop anything from going ahead. The day was still absolutely perfect! All of our guests have said that Waters Edge is the best wedding venue they’ve ever been to, and the food… WOW. It was absolutely insane! We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Then came the evening, and we had the BEST party ever! Everything about the day and night was just incredible, and we genuinely wish we could do it all over again. If you’re thinking about booking Waters Edge, stop thinking about it and BOOK IT! We cannot recommend this place enough. It will always hold such a special place in our hearts, and we feel so lucky that we got to celebrate one of the biggest days of our lives there. I’m genuinely so sad that we can’t do it all over again… although maybe a 10-year vow renewal is on the cards?! From the moment we first met Will and Alex to the big day itself, everyone at The Water’s Edge went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. No question was ever too small, no request too much trouble, and their kindness and professionalism, gave us complete confidence throughout the entire journey. On the day itself, they kept everything running seamlessly, ensuring we could simply relax and enjoy every moment. They even jumped in to help us set up when they saw we were a little short on manpower - something we’ll always be grateful for. The venue itself is simply breathtaking. We were even lucky enough to have a few unexpected animal visitors, which made the day feel even more magical. The food deserves a special mention too, it was absolutely top-notch. Beautifully prepared, delicious, and enjoyed by every one of our guests. We had an incredible wedding at the Water's Edge; the grounds are beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the accommodation was superb. However, what we really loved was that this was a family business, and the Hewer brothers were so accommodating and kind in providing everything we needed for our wedding. There was a real personal touch that we didn't feel in other venues we looked at, and this made all the difference in making our day so special. We would highly recommend the Water's Edge, it's an exceptional venue.We had an incredible wedding at the Water's Edge; the grounds are beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the accommodation was superb. However, what we really loved was that this was a family business, and the Hewer brothers were so accommodating and kind in providing everything we needed for our wedding. The Water's Edge team and venue were flawless on our wedding day. We couldn’t have asked for anymore from them, they consistently went above and beyond without ever needing to be asked, always staying two steps ahead and making sure everything ran seamlessly. We would recommend them over and over again. In more detail: From our first experience of looking round Water's Edge to our wedding day, we’ve had the pleasure of so much help and support from the team (including Will and Alex). Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always happy to help with anything we needed. On the wedding day itself they helped to make the day run perfectly. Will was amazing and would regularly check in with us to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed, while also taking care of so many things behind the scenes that we didn’t even realise were happening. Whether it was something small, like our best man forgetting his speech and the team immediately printing a copy for him, or things they knew we wanted without us even having to ask, they were always anticipating what we needed. Vases were put out and filled with flowers, candles were lit, and countless other little details were taken care of throughout the day. It was such a weight off our shoulders knowing that Will and the team were there to take care of everything, big or small, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding. I genuinely can’t emphasise enough how far they went to make our day everything we wanted and more. From orchestrating the walks down the aisle and managing the microphone setup, to saving some of our evening food for us at the end of the night, they were constantly looking out for us. So many potential issues were dealt with before we even knew they existed, and that made such a huge difference to our experience. The food was another huge highlight. We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was and how generous the portions were. We opted for the BBQ platter, which we initially wondered whether would be enough for everyone, but we had complete trust in the team and rightly so. It was the perfect choice. Everyone was incredibly well fed, and having a selection of different foods on the platter meant that guests could enjoy a real variety. For the evening food, we chose pizzas, which were freshly made throughout the evening and went down incredibly well with our guests. We also arranged sandwiches for the bridal party in the morning, and the team were really flexible with our choices, which was greatly appreciated. We had canapés served around the island during the reception too, and these were another huge hit with everyone. I can’t express enough how lovely the whole Water's Edge team and venue are. We got married end of June 2026, the hottest day of the year so far. The first thing to say is that this venue is one of the most stunning, beautiful, modern and incredible venues in the Cotswolds. With its garden grounds and lake ceremony area it’s breathtaking in full bloom. The courtyard area, bar and function rooms are sleek, modern and an excellent space. Will, Alex and the Waters Edge team were exceptional from start to finish. From our initial first meeting, Will listened to what we’d like and didn’t like, put us at ease and took the time to walk us through what our wedding could be. What was quite clear and in our opinion sets them apart from other venues we saw, was their ability to offer the wedding YOU want. They couldn’t do enough for us, no ask was too big or small, their flexibility and desire to help us achieve the perfect day was immeasurable. It’s didn’t feel like you were rushed or having the same wedding as everyone else. The atmosphere the Waters Edge team created made us and our guests feel relaxed and able to let their hair down. We had some last minute dietary requirements within a few days of the wedding and the chef and his team went above and beyond to cater to this. The food itself, gorgeous. We had the BBQ sharing fest menu, and it was all beautifully made and more than enough for the 100 guests had. From the start right until the wedding day itself, Will and the rest of the team at The Water's Edge made the whole planning process so straight forward, were reassuring whenever I had concerns, and answered all my questions so quickly. They were so accommodating to all of our requests, and on the day itself made me feel so relaxed knowing the wedding was in the best hands. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and having the accommodation on site was a huge bonus, and really made the whole experience so smooth and easy. The food both the night before the wedding and the wedding day itself was 10/10, and I have received so many compliments from my guests that it was the best wedding food they've ever had! We had an absolute blast celebrating with our Wedding guests and couldn't have asked for better weather to enjoy the stunning lakeside scenery at Water's Edge. Will and Alex were on hand throughout our day to assist with coordination and timings whilst ensuring everything ran smoothly. We found the team to be very responsive to any queries, and providing a Sharepoint site for Wedding planning in the lead up to the day was incredibly useful. The Wedding Breakfast menu and tasting evening was also excellent. Our guests complimented the food and service throught the meal as being fantastic. Overall we had an amazing day and greatly appreciated the communication we had with the team whom we found to be very professional and lovely to engage with !We had an absolute blast celebrating with our Wedding guests and couldn't have asked for better weather to enjoy the stunning lakeside scenery at Water's Edge. Will and Alex were on hand throughout our day to assist with coordination and timings whilst ensuring everything ran smoothly. We found the team to be very responsive to any queries, and providing a Sharepoint site for Wedding planning in the lead up to the day was incredibly useful. The Wedding Breakfast menu and tasting evening was also excellent. Our guests complimented the food and service throught the meal as being fantastic. We had our wedding at the end of March at Waters Edge at Ewen and we enjoyed our day so much. The sun was shining and the day went smoothly, mainly down to Will. Before the wedding with all the emails, he made it easy and was really flexible with things we wanted. We wanted a smaller wedding that was informal and relaxed and it was exactly what we wanted. He was also great on the day checking in with us but the day was perfect. The venue is beautiful, from the outside courtyard to the rooms upstairs, the bar, the big fireplace in the main hall, then the lake and the outside space for the ceremony, there really isn’t another venue that compares. The food was a huge selling point for us, we did the food tasting months before the wedding and it was all amazing, the day arrived and the food was so tasty, all the guests commented on how good it was. We also had a singer for the ceremony and reception, best decision! We cannot recommend The Water's Edge at Ewen highly enough. From our very first visit, we knew it was somewhere special. The venue is absolutely stunning, particularly the outdoor ceremony area, which is beautifully designed and sheltered so it can be used whatever the weather. The exclusivity of the venue also really stood out to us, making the whole experience feel personal rather than like part of a wedding conveyor belt. A huge thank you to Will and Alex, who were exceptional from start to finish. Communication throughout the planning process was fantastic, and nothing was ever too much trouble. On the wedding day itself, everything ran seamlessly, even when we were running a little behind schedule. Will and Alex kept everything on track without adding any stress, and were brilliant in helping coordinate key moments throughout the day. The venue was immaculate, the food was excellent, and every detail was clearly cared for. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and several told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so memorable.
