Our boutique venue, set within serene lakeside grounds, offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony options, allowing you to tailor your special day to your vision. As a family-run business, Water's Edge at Ewen prides itself on providing a personal and intimate experience. When you book with us, you receive exclusive access to our stunning grounds and facilities, ensuring your wedding is private and unique. The venue includes three luxurious king-size bedrooms available for the night before and the day of your wedding, perfect for accommodating the bridal party and close family. Our venue features a beautifully designed indoor space with modern interiors and a striking fireplace, ideal for your ceremony, reception, and evening festivities. For those who dream of an outdoor wedding, our lakeside ceremony space offers a breathtaking backdrop, complete with oak trees and the tranquil waters of the lake. The courtyard garden provides a charming setting for socialising and relaxation, complete with rustic seating, fire pits, and festoon lighting. Additionally, our state-of-the-art theatre-style kitchen allows guests to interact with the chefs as they prepare delicious, locally sourced cuisine. We offer a variety of dining options, including à la carte, Argentinian-style BBQ and street food taco menus, ensuring a delightful culinary experience for all tastes. Water's Edge at Ewen can accommodate up to 130 guests indoors and 250 outdoors, ensuring plenty of space for your celebration. Our comfortable bar area makes for the perfect spot to sip on cocktails before dancing the night away. We offer extensive facilities and services including on-site parking, disabled access, and pet-friendly policies. Our pricing is clear and straightforward. Simply choose your season and preferred day of the week from the venue hire pricing table on our website, ranging from £1,500 - £9,000.
Food and drink menus can be mixed and matched to suit your plans.
Dining starts from £40 per person, including staffing, service, and tableware. Drinks packages start from £36 per person but are not mandatory.

Alex and Will were so helpful and attentive throughout the planning right up until the day after our wedding when they helped us host a day 2 brunch! The venue itself has so much to offer with beautiful interior design, stunning reception located next to the river and lake and space for all our friends & family to enjoy our special day , they even allowed our dog to make an appearance after the ceremony! Also a shout to the head chef to put on the most amazing spread of food from the canapés to the pancakes we had as our chosen dessert! Will was so accommodating, answering all our questions, allowing us time to take a look around at our own pace and he had such a lovely relaxed and charismatic persona about him too - I left knowing that I was going to say yes. Will has been an absolute star at communication too, whether that was via email, phone or in person. He met all of our questions and requests with the most professional responses and always found a way to accommodate what we asked for or found an alternative route that worked perfectly - and we really appreciate his co-operation and flexibility on ensuring we were able to meet what we had in mind. Our menu tasting experience was so unique too - we didn't quite know what to expect and they all absolutely smashed it out of the park. The food was phenomenal and it was SO hard to pick what we wanted to go for, we truly appreciated the option to have that as private for us to enjoy it together, there was SO much food and hats off to your chef as he is so fabulous with his creations. Through to our pre-wedding day and wedding day itself - we were so impressed with everything they did for us, Will ensured we felt relaxed and could go at our own pace from the moment we arrived to set up and kept in constant communication in a lovely subtle way too that meant it never felt overwhelming. Will and his team on the day were so smooth with their service, from drinks and canapés, food and tidying up too - they were all like a well oiled machine and everything just ran so nicely. I know I mentioned Will's communication above, but honestly on the wedding day itself he was so great at 'handling' us; ensuring we always had drinks or food, were served first and treated really attentively. They all had personal connections with the both of us and our families and friends too and it absolutely didn't go unnoticed. The venue was absolutely perfect too, such a special and intimate space that had plenty of hidden corners and areas for guests to relax, chat and dance in - the spaces are all broken up perfectly too to give different vibes which is so lovely. The bedrooms and space upstairs is also SO lovely, everyone that walked into the rooms all were amazed by them and had plenty of praise for the beautiful spaces. The FOOD too. As said for the tasting experience, I think as a bride and groom everyone gets a little worried that the food on the day maybe doesn't quite match what gets sold to them ahead of the wedding, but honestly - there was no concern needed. The food was phenomenal, the portions for just us were absolutely huge and we loved trying all the different items and the individual platings to suit our dietary requirements too. Our guests absolutely loved the sharing platters and said it was so unique and such a surprise for the wedding day (which was what I'd always wanted!) as it meant people are going to remember that experience outside of all their other wedding experiences. SO many people literally came up to us on the day to say how amazing the food was, they were all so blown away by the quality - with how fresh and juicy and succulent everything was. I feel like we've definitely been to weddings where food is mass produced and it loses the flavour or becomes so dry - and it couldn't be further from the truth for the delectable food you served to our party. I know I thanked your chef on the day - but please do pass on our thanks again, he absolutely smashed it (and also the TASTY breakfast the next day!), as he is a superstar.
