Set within 400 acres of fields and woodland, the estate includes a five‑acre walled garden, Grade II listed barns and stables, and our Grade I listed Manor House.
The Manor House offers a range of beautiful rooms, from the grand Stone Hall to the quiet Library. The Old Library upstairs is now a bright dressing room with views over the walled garden. Outside, the garden provides space for drinks, canapés, and photos.
Place Farm Barn, just steps from the house, features a light‑filled main hall opening onto a flower‑filled courtyard with views across the parkland.
Both venues are licensed for civil ceremonies.
We are delighted to offer a choice of preferred caterers: rhubarb Hospitality, Two Many Cooks, Thyme & Lime Catering, Kearney's, The Four Gables Group, Earth Catering and Love & Rocket. - Our philosophy is that every event hosted here should be something very special: personal and exquisite.

Venue hire includes use of the event rooms in the Manor House, 5 acre secluded walled garden and our beautiful barn and patio courtyard. Also 5ft 6ins round tables and lime washed chiavari chairs. Access day before on certain dates to set up and exclusive use. Prices include VAT and are for 2025. The hire fee varies according to the time of year and day of the week.

They had already been wowed by the church, weather and views but seeing West Horsley place surpassed everyone’s expectations. We were so lucky that the rain cleared & we were able to make use of the gardens as well as the house & Barn. I absolutely love WHP, it has such a comfortable, relaxed yet 'genteel' feel perfect for our wedding & you mirror the management of it in exactly the same way. The backdrop of WHP in the photos I've seen on peoples phones already look amazing so can't wait to see what our photographer has in store. We were so lucky that the rain cleared & we were able to make use of the gardens as well as the house & Barn. I can't pick one, all our weddings have been amazing and each one so different from the previous ones.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try to keep calm and enjoy the wedding planning. I know it can be stressful but book essential suppliers as soon as you can, leaving you with time to enjoy planning the finer details.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
I love it when we see personal touches, either from the couple or where friends and family have created something special for their wedding day. Once couple created a 'newspaper' to hand out to all their guests, detailing their romantic journey leading up to the wedding.

Exclusive, romantic, historic, unique, beautiful
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are so many! Beautiful, atmospheric interior shots in the manor house, our wonderful 17th century (the oldest in the country) Serpentine wall in the garden, rolling countryside and sunsets over the west facing walled garden.

I love all canapes, they taste and look gorgeous!

Sadly, I can never refuse a pizza - any time of day!

The amazing history and authenticity - if walls could talk, what stories they'd tell!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
That we have created two very different but complimentary spaces within the manor house and the barn. And that all wedding income goes towards preserving the ancient estate and buildings.
