All I dreamed of for my wedding was a forest wedding. After a lot of searching for an affordable wedding in a forest, I stumbled upon Wee Weddings Crear. As a perfectionist, it was difficult to put the control of the wedding into the hands of others. I chose to take that leap and trust them; trust in their experience and their craft. Everyone was so calm and so professional. We had photography, flowers, a place to stay, goodies, wine , champagne, brunch and a three course evening meal all sorted on our behalf. It was easy, it was simple and yet it was so beautiful, magical and exactly what I imagined. They did everything for the wedding day and arranged all the timings. Shout out to; Lorraine: who was my point of contact thoughout the year that I could message at anytime with questions, help with finding officiants and help filling out the marriage licence; Lily: for help on the day with my dress and coming to the rescue with nail glue; Agnes: for creating flowers unique to us based on what we were wearing; Gavin for the amazing photography and showing how passionate and making it easy and natural for us, Ian our piper for just enjoying being there and playing whenever he could, not just when walking my down the aisle but staying on and creating an atmosphere while taking photos; and finally the chef; for the amazing dinner we enjoyed in the night. When we first spotted Crear online over a year ago we knew it was a special place, but nothing could have prepared us for how truly special our wedding weekend has been. Now we have married here, cannot possibly imagine us doing anything else. The welcome, the cottage, the ceremony all just fitted our style perfectly - married and then back in jammies at 8pm, munching on Crear goodies and not a random drunk Uncle in sight!! Thank you so much for our wedding. The team who made it possible. To all the Crear team, particularly Amanda, Mel, Fiona and Julie for their help getting us organised beforehand, and to Fiona as well for the warm welcome and helping on the day! You folk are absolute superstars and made us feel so special. To Crear Flowers for the gorgeous bouquet and buttonhole which were everything we hoped for and more. To Iain for making our wedding look and feel truly Scottish with his evocative piping and regaling us with local tales over a cuppa afterwards! To Bart for capturing our wedding so beautifully, putting us at ease and being willing to clamber over rocks and into the sea for the perfect shot! Glad we could repay you with a cuppa as well! We leave Crear with full hearts and full tummies. It was made so special by everyone’s care and attention, from first enquiring about booking our wedding and until leaving the cottage, and everything in between! It has been amazing and we are so happy that we chose to do it that way, thank you all so much. Forever grateful. Also a special thanks to Bart, the videographer. He spent a lot of time perfecting shots he wanted and was so relaxed and friendly. He really made us feel at ease and is definitely made for that job.
