The house is nothing short of dream - beautifully maintained, full of historic charm, and equipped with every comfort one could wish for. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The festive decorations created a warm, cozy atmosphere perfect for the holidays. We wholeheartedly recommend Craigard Castle and would return in a heartbeat.We spent christmas at Craigard Castle and it was truly magical. The house is nothing short of dream - beautifully maintained, full of historic charm, and equipped with every comfort one could wish for. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The festive decorations created a warm, cozy atmosphere perfect for the holidays. We wholeheartedly recommend Craigard Castle and would return in a heartbeat.

You feel so special coming in the door and the interior is stunning. The perfect place to take life slow and enjoy looking out onto cold frosty mornings with a hot drink. Darius and Hannah had robes, slippers and towels at the ready and just the thought and care they provided for us was second to none. We are really looking forward to going back and couldn't recommend this place enough. We stayed here at the very beginning of this year (2024). What an incredible property. You feel so special coming in the door and the interior is stunning. The perfect place to take life slow and enjoy looking out onto cold frosty mornings with a hot drink. Darius and Hannah had robes, slippers and towels at the ready and just the thought and care they provided for us was second to none. Disclaimer: We were incredibly lucky with the weather and it was absolutely stunning. Craigard is the perfect venue for a laid-back small wedding. The facilities and decor are beautiful. The hot tub was a hit with everyone and the location is stunning. We were able to completely curate the day to what we needed and Hannah was on hand throughout the process and on the day to help. She was completely amazing and kind. We hosted our wedding at Craigard in Sept 24 and it was the most perfect venue. Disclaimer: We were incredibly lucky with the weather and it was absolutely stunning. Craigard is the perfect venue for a laid-back small wedding. The facilities and decor are beautiful. The dramatic dining room was the perfect backdrop for a large family lunch - over the weekend we enjoyed exploring the area and garden. As well as simply sitting in the house taking in the views and watching the weather fronts roll in. We really didn’t want to leave! Highly recommended.With incredible views, a hot tub to sit in and gaze at the stars, super comfortable rooms and everything you could wish for in the kitchen this is the perfect place for any celebration. Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The waterfall a short five minute drive up on the estate. Get there in style in our Vintage Land Rover.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Our very first wedding was the sporting celebrity couple Lee Jones of the Glasgow Warriors and Scottish Rugby team and Charline Joiner who cycled for Scotland at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Their guests included rugby and cycling stars and it was a fabulous way to christen our wedding venue.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Anything with haggis!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Driving up to the waterfall on the estate for photos in a Vintage Defender. It is a fantastic experience, memorable for all the right reasons, and the photos are majestic!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The uniqueness and personal feel, the great relationship we build with our couples - after planning your wedding together, you will feel like a friend!
