- MMr & Mrs Kelly08/02/2024Everyone had been so kind, friendly and accomodatingEveryone had been so kind, friendly and accomodatingWe stayed at the Knipoch from 15th-17th July for our wedding and I cannot fault anything during our stay. We stayed in the largest in the hotel which was perfect for me and my bridal party getting ready on the wedding morning, and the room was beautiful. There were a good variety of breakfast options in the morning and the staff serving us were very friendly. Our wedding took place in the lovely Lounge. From the ceremony, to the wedding breakfast, to the reception, everything was how I imagined it to be. The meal was fantastic and we had many guests telling us how much they enjoyed it. The location of the hotel is ideal as it is tucked away in a quiet area, but only less than 15 minutes from Oban. I could go on and on about everything I loved about our stay but most importantly I wanted to acknowledge the staff. They are an absolute credit to the hotel! Everyone had been so kind, friendly and accomodating to us, ensuring we had the best stay possible. There was 8 of us in total and we had a lovely time. We had one of the deluxe rooms which included a wonderful view out over the loch. It had a very comfortable bed and a bathroom bigger than my own living room. The whole of the hotel was very clean and tidy and clearly well looked after. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. There really wasn't anything they would not do to make our stay all the more special. We had a mix-up with the person making our wedding cake (not the hotel) and the hotel pastry chef knocked a cake up for myself and my wife, much to our surprise. All the staff went above and beyond. Walking down that staircase to my ceremony and all the staff were stood lined up it was so lovely. The three course meal was delicious along with all the tasty wines that accompanied it, all of our family and friends were very happy. Truly grateful for the most magical day.
