We are proud to offer Civil Ceremonies in any of our three licensed ceremony areas, all with a backdrop of 15 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens.
You will have exclusive use of our venues, enabling us to give you and your guests our full and undivided attention.
Firstly the light and airy dining hall that leads straight onto 15 acres of magnificent gardens, consisting of informal wooded parkland, herbaceous borders, ponds, fountains, generous lawns and a Victorian Walled Garden which gives endless photographic opportunities. You will truly feel as though you are in your own oasis, the perfect setting for your special day. Located within an estate full of lustrous history, there is no other venue quite like it, and it will be a talking point for your guests both on the day and afterwards.
Secondly our rustic events barn, The Little Barn, is a charming and open space for your wedding celebrations. The Little Barn offers a more informal atmosphere which is ideal for BBQ's, hog roasts as well as family style, sharing boards. With a front garden area and onsite accommodation just behind The Little Barn, this venue offers a truly memorable experience for your wedding day.
At Weddings at Quex, we pride ourselves in a personalised wedding service, designed to ensure that you can relax and enjoy your most special day, confident in the knowledge that you are in safe and professional hands.
With the combination of the House, gardens, dining hall suite, and The Little Barn, Weddings at Quex provides a fascinating and dramatic backdrop capable of making any event unique and unforgettable.

Molly, Laura and the team were amazing, nothing was to much. Quex grounds are beautiful and picture perfect. The food was so tasty and looked like they are from a Michelin star restaurant. - JJulie31/08/2023What an amazing wedding venue - Quex Weddings BirchingtonWhat an amazing wedding venue - Quex Weddings BirchingtonLaura, Molly and Alice - these three ladies are truly amazing and I cannot thank each of them enough for all their continued help and support over the last year with my daughter and her new husbands wedding plans. As a business it is expected that they provide planning advice and suggestions on how things would work better for weddings, however what these three ladies bring is so much more! These ladies are very approachable and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They listened to all of our ‘wants’ and always aimed to provide what was asked for, however if they couldn’t they never just say no they suggest alternatives. But what l loved the most is that these ladies are naturally warm, empathetic, understanding and friendly and this was highlighted when my daughter Sophie phoned me the day after the wedding and of all the things she could have said to me about the wedding day - she chose to say ‘mum Laura came and danced with me, wasn’t that lovely’. And that says it all for me - ‘yes it absolutely was’. Thank you ladies for being on this journey with us. I really am going to miss seeing you all. They work terrifically hard to pull together a special day full of memories and make you feel at ease when dealing with any little question or request. From our first meeting with Alice we knew Quex was the venue for us, despite it only being our first viewing of venues. Living in West Sussex and planning a wedding in Kent meant we knew we needed a venue and coordinator who could organise our day perfectly. Alice understood exactly what we wanted for our day and discussed the many options to suit us without overwhelming us or trying to sway our decisions. Alice was so thoughtful and supportive that we didn't want to risk going elsewhere and missing out on this and so cancelled our other viewings at local venues. We are so glad we did - Alice and the rest of the team did us so proud and we couldn't have asked for a better day! On the day, everything ran smoothly and every minute detail had been thought through; our ceremony location changed due to weather without a problem, our personal belongings were looked after, our guests were attended to fantastically, the day was managed with seamless transitions between each event and all whilst the staff had the biggest smiles and the warmest welcome for our guests. During the day our guests stopped us to comment on what a lovely staff team there was and how thoughtful the day had been, with delicious food and special touches throughout. We cannot thank Alice, Molly, Laura and team enough - we highly recommend Quex as a venue and count ourselves as a very lucky couple to have been married here! This kept things simple, with the additional benefit of the suppliers being familiar with the venue, and able to provide a first class, trouble free service. Their prices were very competitive too.
