Our pricing is simple, select your season and day of the week, choose your ceremony location, menus and drinks can be mixed and matched depending on your needs. Our food costs depend on what menu you choose at Water's Edge. We have a range of food options, including canapés, à la carte and barbecue. Dining starts at £52 per person and includes staffing, service, and tableware. Our drink menus start at £36 per person. We also have plenty of different options for evening food and different options for meals the day before or the day after your wedding day. We cater for all food intolerances and allergens. The most amazing venue and food!The most amazing venue and food!
Waters Edge at Ewen was the first venue we viewed when we started our wedding planning journey in 2023, and this September 2025 in the most perfect setting we got married at this venue and we knew instantly it was the right choice. Alex and Will were so helpful and attentive throughout the planning right up until the day after our wedding when they helped us host a day 2 brunch! The venue itself has so much to offer with beautiful interior design, stunning reception located next to the river and lake and space for all our friends & family to enjoy our special day , they even allowed our dog to make an appearance after the ceremony! Also a shout to the head chef to put on the most amazing spread of food from the canapés to the pancakes we had as our chosen dessert! THE BEST WEDDING VENUE!THE BEST WEDDING VENUE!
From the moment we reached out to book a viewing, to meeting Will at Water's Edge for a tour - I knew I had found the venue. Will was so accommodating, answering all our questions, allowing us time to take a look around at our own pace and he had such a lovely relaxed and charismatic persona about him too - I left knowing that I was going to say yes. Will has been an absolute star at communication too, whether that was via email, phone or in person. He met all of our questions and requests with the most professional responses and always found a way to accommodate what we asked for or found an alternative route that worked perfectly - and we really appreciate his co-operation and flexibility on ensuring we were able to meet what we had in mind. Our menu tasting experience was so unique too - we didn't quite know what to expect and they all absolutely smashed it out of the park. The food was phenomenal and it was SO hard to pick what we wanted to go for, we truly appreciated the option to have that as private for us to enjoy it together, there was SO much food and hats off to your chef as he is so fabulous with his creations. Through to our pre-wedding day and wedding day itself - we were so impressed with everything they did for us, Will ensured we felt relaxed and could go at our own pace from the moment we arrived to set up and kept in constant communication in a lovely subtle way too that meant it never felt overwhelming. Will and his team on the day were so smooth with their service, from drinks and canapés, food and tidying up too - they were all like a well oiled machine and everything just ran so nicely. I know I mentioned Will's communication above, but honestly on the wedding day itself he was so great at 'handling' us; ensuring we always had drinks or food, were served first and treated really attentively. They all had personal connections with the both of us and our families and friends too and it absolutely didn't go unnoticed. The venue was absolutely perfect too, such a special and intimate space that had plenty of hidden corners and areas for guests to relax, chat and dance in - the spaces are all broken up perfectly too to give different vibes which is so lovely. The bedrooms and space upstairs is also SO lovely, everyone that walked into the rooms all were amazed by them and had plenty of praise for the beautiful spaces. The FOOD too. As said for the tasting experience, I think as a bride and groom everyone gets a little worried that the food on the day maybe doesn't quite match what gets sold to them ahead of the wedding, but honestly - there was no concern needed. The food was phenomenal, the portions for just us were absolutely huge and we loved trying all the different items and the individual platings to suit our dietary requirements too. Our guests absolutely loved the sharing platters and said it was so unique and such a surprise for the wedding day (which was what I'd always wanted!) as it meant people are going to remember that experience outside of all their other wedding experiences. SO many people literally came up to us on the day to say how amazing the food was, they were all so blown away by the quality - with how fresh and juicy and succulent everything was. I feel like we've definitely been to weddings where food is mass produced and it loses the flavour or becomes so dry - and it couldn't be further from the truth for the delectable food you served to our party. I know I thanked your chef on the day - but please do pass on our thanks again, he absolutely smashed it (and also the TASTY breakfast the next day!), as he is a superstar. Our experience at Waters Edge at Ewen was nothing short of magical — amazing from start to finish. The 3-day package was perfect, giving us time to set up, settle in, and truly relax before the big day. The staff were incredible throughout. Alex helped to keep me calm when I needed it most, and Will went above and beyond during the planning stages to make sure everything ran smoothly. On the day itself, both Alex and Will were absolutely fantastic — we honestly couldn’t have done it without them. The chef was wonderful too, even stepping in to help with a little cake issue, which meant so much! The food was incredible too! The venue itself is simply stunning — it really does all the work for you. We received compliments all day long about how beautiful the setting was. It truly felt like we were living in a fairytale. Water's Edge is a fantastic venue. We had our reception here and were beyond impressed from start to finish. From the very first visit, everything ran so smoothly. Will and his team are profesional, organised and offer a level of service which is outstanding. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and all our requests were taken care of. The setting and the grounds are stunning, offering some beautiful photo opportunities. The food was delicious and we had so many complimentary comments on the menu. The difference with Water's Edge is that being a family business, they understand what makes a wedding special. They offer a level of service which a cut above and we would recommend Water's Edge to anyone. Thank you again, Alli and WillWater's Edge is a fantastic venue. Where do I start... We had an absolute fairytale wedding at Water's Edge. As soon as you arrive you know you have found something special, the storybook nestled away garden, the winding pathway to the stunning lakes. It really was a 'pinch me moment' walking down that gorgeous aisle surrounded by nature. We can't thank Will and team enough, they constantly went out of their way to make our vision come to life. Be it delicious vegan options, private dinings, last minute rehearsals.. thank you so much for being so accommodating! That's the difference working with a close-knit family run set up, it all felt very personal. We can't wait to go back and visit again in the future.Where do I start... I really couldn't recommend Water's Edge enough. From the start of our search, they made us feel so at ease and comfortable and they were always around for any random questions I had (sorry, Will)! On the day, Will and Alex could not do enough for us. They made sure everything ran smoothly and I didn't have to think about anything. Our schedule was running a bit behind but they made sure that everything still happened and were not phased at all. The food was next level! Our guests cannot stop saying how good the food was. We went for the BBQ style food and it really was amazing. The chef was brilliant and was also a big help the day before and day of. The accommodation was lovely and clean and very well presented. My Wife and I chose the Waters Edge as our Wedding venue in August this year and were absolutely delighted with the whole experience, which made for a truly memorable day for us and our guests. Will and his team were excellent throughout and took a lot of stress out of the planning phase in the lead up to the big day. The grounds are stunning and our guests were particularly blown away by the expansive ceremony setting, surrounded by the lake, trees and wildlife. The food was excellent and the team ensured all our guests requirements were catered for throughout the day. The rooms and overall level of service provided throughout our stay was excellent! We would definitely recommend anyone looking for a venue which maximises its outdoor space and has a relaxed vibe, to seriously consider the Waters Edge. I first discovered Waters Edge through work and fell in love with the beautiful surroundings and very well executed decor. When we finally got engaged and started planning our wedding, there was no doubt that I wanted the celebrations to be held at Waters Edge. As a wedding planner, it was also important for me to book a venue that was beautiful inside as well as outside. You can’t predict the weather in the UK! Luckily we had fantastic weather so could make the most of the outdoor space on the day. Had it rained, the interior is so lovely that it wouldn’t have been a problem. Will, Alex & the entire team were incredibly attentive throughout the wedding day with nothing too much trouble and checked in on us regularly to see if we needed anything. The food was incredible and had many compliments from our guests. We were thrilled to have been able to personalise elements of the day to reflect our story. Danny agreed to create desserts and evening food for us that had meaning. We had our wedding at Waters Edge this summer and it was a truly amazing day. The grounds and outdoor area are absolutely stunning. The outdoor ceremony area by the lakes with the swans is so beautiful and getting married surrounded by all this makes it feel really magical. Will, Alex and the staff were professional, friendly and worked extremely hard to give us and our guests a wonderful day. Before the wedding day, Will and Alex kept in contact regularly to ensure our plans were all in place and the day would run smoothly with no stress - which it did! The chef(s) did an amazing job with the food as there were extra items we asked to be provided that were not on the original menus but tasted amazing and when we originally asked nothing was too much trouble. The guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and the atmosphere. The venue itself is beautifully decorated, the honeymoon sweet with the roll top bath is truly luxurious and the fireplace in the main hall is also gorgeous. You don’t need a lot of decorations as the venue itself is beautiful enough. We can’t recommend the venue enough if you’re looking for a stylish and beautiful Cotswold wedding day.
