Walton Hall and Gardens is set within acres of tranquil and idyllic parkland and steeped with history, classic charm and truly striking surroundings.
It has a selection of stunning different venue options, both indoor and outdoor, which can be used for your wedding ceremony, reception or evening celebrations.
Within Walton Hall itself, there is the Concert Room and Ruby Room, with stunning views of the surrounding gardens from both rooms. However you choose to style the rooms for your celebrations, you can be sure you will have a delightfully spectacular backdrop for those unforgettable pictures. The hall showcases traditional English design, from the wooden panelled entrance hall with gilded high ceilings and chandeliers will greet you as you arrive at the doors of Walton Hall. The largest event room has seating for up to 100 guests and has lots of room to invite all your loved ones to join you for your ceremony or reception.
If you'd prefer an alternative ceremony option, you can utilise the stunning surroundings to your advantage. Several intimate spaces are on offer such as the Bandstand, the Pergola, the Woodland Hideaway, and the brand-new Tipi's are ideal for your ceremony.

The run up to the Wedding the staff at Walton could not be more helpful and accommodating. The day of the wedding was effortlessly ran by Mike. Mike and his team mobilised everything quickly and professionally to allay our fears and ensure we had a great day. The bandstand layout was beautiful, the ceremony gorgeous, the ceilidh great and the band brilliant. Drinks were served impeccably and the ice cream van after the hot pot was loved by all. All in all, a superb day!We just wanted to say a massive 'thank you' to all of the Walton Hall team for everything that you did towards us having a fantastic wedding. - SSpinDanny13/12/2023Fantastic Job!Fantastic Job!We held our wedding reception in the Hall. The Hall and its surrounding gardens made a great setting for such an event. To add to this the staff who looked after us in the lead up to and on the day of our wedding were tremendous being both friendly and professional, taking care of everything leaving my wife and I to enjoy the day. Walton Hall is licensed for weddings and they seem very practiced at it. It's the original building and has been kept in good condition by Warrington council. The old Jacobean hall has great character especially with the ornate timber staircase which is very grand. The ground floor main room has two lovely bay windows which lets plenty of light in and made a great setting for our wedding ceremony. For a wedding this location is ideal, and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.The gardens are lovely to walk around, especially when the sun is out. My sons wedding was held here, it was perfect both in the bandstand and at the reception the manager and staff could not do enough for the bride and groom and guests. The grounds are beautifully kept , our tiny guests had a ride round the park on a mini train and visited the zoo! This is a lovely, I intimate place where we attended an afternoon and evening wedding reception. The team here, led by a tall guy ( so sorry I don't know your name ) couldn't do enough for us. Venue was so well laid out and beautifully decorated. Great place for families. We had a three course meal for the afternoon and then in the evening fish and chips, peas, sausages, and EXCELLENT onion gravy. I cannot fault the food. THad to write about our day yesterday. Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We do have several spots around the estate which offer the perfect photo backdrop, everything from our stunning woodland hideaway area at sunset for a modern rustic feel, down to our traditional Elizabethan style hall for a more traditional wedding, we're sure to have the perfect spot for every kind of couple.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We've never had celebrities at our weddings, but we have been used as a filming location for several TV dramas over the years!

Anything that involves halloumi!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
We're a sucker for a midnight sandwich!
