Thornton Manor

Visited for a friend's wedding beautiful location in wirral, amazing service and staff were so friendly and welcoming. The grounds were beautiful and the manor was a fantastic piece of architecture steeped in history.

Clearly the best wedding venue on the district-beautiful grounds stunning main house and cottages scattered across its mind blowing estate.Extremely professional diligent team of staff - the owners Phillip and Dianne are lovely & helpful it was a pleasure - Thank You so much.JF

Attended a wedding, just spectacular outside surroundings and so comfortable the interior with absolutely beautiful deco and furniture, relaxed atmosphere with a lovely service, would highly recommend.

Where do I start, Thornton manor is the venue of my dreams, from the moment I saw the Manor House I knew it was the only wedding venue for us, the Music room is unbelievably stunning. All the staff at Thornton manor are amazing, nothing is ever too much trouble, they go above and beyond with everything. All the staff were professional, friendly, helpful and efficient. James and I visited Thornton Manor a number of times on the run up to our wedding, we were always made to feel incredible welcome

From our initial viewing of the venue we knew this was the one for us. The venue speaks for itself and is just absolutely stunning. The staff were so incredibly kind, friendly and supportive from our first meeting to the final ta-ra’s the day following the wedding. They were so organised and nothing was too much to ask for. They put both myself and my husband at ease on the day, and it felt like having friends with us throughout.

I have photographed at Thornton Manor on several occasions and It is one of my favourite venues to work at. The rooms are incredible and the staff are always on hand to ensure weddings go well. No matter the weather this venue is incredible to hold your wedding.

We had our wedding at Thornton Manor, Manor House on the 27th November and it was amazing. The team were great from start to finish, and were very accommodating when having to postpone due to covid. We received so many compliments from guests on the venue, and the Christmas decorations made it very magical. We hired out quite a few of the cottages on site and these surpassed expectations, with many of our guests saying that they were pleasantly surprised...

A superb venue for my daughter's wedding. The staff were gracious and helpful. The food was delicious and the surroundings beautiful. From the string quartet welcoming guests and the grand sitting rooms with log fires, to the imposing ball room with vaulted ceiling, a wonderful wedding venue. A fantastic day!

We married here in march 2019 and can't rate the staff or the venue highly enough. Beautiful music room which is a perfect ceremony or wedding breakfast room. The wedding organisers know their stuff and help you to organise your day to exactly what you want and ensure it goes off without a hitch. Fabulous cottages available for guests to hire, i stayed the night before with bridesmaids, and the lodge we had was immaculate. Would highly highly recommend the venue...

The wedding coordinators are amazing and made the planning process so easy and smooth. All the staff on the day were fantastic and everything ran perfectly. All our guests were overwhelmed with the Manor House. I stayed in the thatched pavilion the night before the wedding which was gorgeous. All the guest who stayed in the Manor House on our wedding night loved their rooms and the catering the following day. James and I can't thank everyone at Thornton Manor enough, you ready did make our wedding the most amazing day and I'd highly recommend Thornton Manor! Thank you so much James and Rachel
