I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive Thank You, for an exceptional Day, on my daughter Laura and Alex's wedding on 20th July. The hospitality and staff were amazing , everything was perfect! We also enjoyed our stay at the Golf Club, again a fabulous breakfast, the Staff were lovely. I need to add, this comes from my other family members also. So Thorpeness, you all need to be so proud of yourselves! We had an amazing day. Thank you all again.

Dear Mel, Blaize & All of the Country Club team, The hugest of thank yous for all that you did to make our seaside shellebrations so much fun and from start to finish we could not have asked for more of a brilliant team. Mel - Thank you for putting up with all of our emails, and weird & wonderful requests (making our Samba band and fire dancer dreams come true) & bringing your calm energy to the events planning and set up. All in all a night us and our nearest & dearest will remember forever!

We had such a fantastic day celebrating with friends and family. Melanie and the catering staff were so cool, calm and efficient throughout the whole planning process and on the day. Dietary requirements were met impeccably and their smiley faces just added to the day's joy! Thank you for all your help in making a magical day for us all!

Me and my Husband had our wedding day at Thorpeness Country Club at the beginning of June 2024 and could not have asked for a better day. The venue had a beautiful sea view, a perfect setting indoors with a beautiful table set up- as well as an area out the back for all our little guests to run freely. We were so grateful to Melanie and Blaize who were our point of contact from viewing the venue until the day. All our vendors were organised by them both in the lead up to our day which was super helpful. Myself and Harry both found that we wanted additional or alternative things that were not included in the brochure- after a chat with our wedding coordinator they were happy to accommodate. The day arrived and exceeded our expectations. Thank you to all of the team at Thorpeness for your hard work.

A huge thank you to the staff for all their help in the build-up of the wedding and on the actual day. Mel and Blaize were brilliant. Not to mention how amazing they were the day before the wedding, helping to bring my vision to life as well as being a calm, positive influence. We had so many wonderful compliments regarding the food throughout the day. We can’t thank Thorpeness Country Club enough for helping to make our day the most magical, best day of our lives.

[From TripAdvisor] I recently got married at the Thorpeness Country Club which is managed by the same people as the hotel... it would be remiss of me not to say what a wonderful day we had and how well everything went with the wedding.

We got married at the Country club and My best man and I stayed here the night before and my new wife and I stayed here after the wedding. In short Great venue - Thorpeness is a lovely place, the Hotel is situated perfectly. Friendly staff - Everyone was so nice! Especially the morning after our wedding where we were often congratulated and had a breakfast table reserved, it was such a nice touch!

This was easily the best day of our lives, and the absolute perfect venue for us both. We had looked at many other venues but Thorpeness offered us everything, their wedding packages were very reasonably priced with many options to choose from. The venue is simple yet elegant, allowing us to decorate to our own style and taste. I had proposed to my wife by the sea so being by the sea for our wedding felt absolutely perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for our wedding coordinators Melanie and Blaize, they were very accommodating and helpful. Thank you so much Thorpeness!
