Blaize and Mel were always friendly and helpful and all our guests commented on the wonderful service from supporting staff on the day. Timings went perfectly, everything was so smooth and well-organised. The food was excellent. Thank you so much to everybody for making our day so special!We loved our wedding at Thorpeness Country Club. From start to finish, the team made sure that all our wishes and needs were met. The team at the Country Club not only helped us rearrange our ceremony to the gardens of the Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel after our original plans were cut short by Covid, they also helped bring our reception to life three years later. Everyone was so welcoming and open to our ideas. Melanie offered up other local providers which lead us to our brilliant photographers and was very understanding of our excitable friends on the night. The food was also out of this world and a big thank you to the Chef and the team at the Hotel who catered for us at both events and made our guests feel so at home. We really couldn't have had a better dayWe cannot say enough good things about the Thorpeness Country Club. The hospitality and staff were amazing , everything was perfect! We also enjoyed our stay at the Golf Club, again a fabulous breakfast, the Staff were lovely. I need to add, this comes from my other family members also. So Thorpeness, you all need to be so proud of yourselves! We had an amazing day. Thank you all again. Melanie and the catering staff were so cool, calm and efficient throughout the whole planning process and on the day. The venue had a beautiful sea view, a perfect setting indoors with a beautiful table set up- as well as an area out the back for all our little guests to run freely. We were so grateful to Melanie and Blaize who were our point of contact from viewing the venue until the day. All our vendors were organised by them both in the lead up to our day which was super helpful. Myself and Harry both found that we wanted additional or alternative things that were not included in the brochure- after a chat with our wedding coordinator they were happy to accommodate. The day arrived and exceeded our expectations. Thank you to all of the team at Thorpeness for your hard work. Especially the morning after our wedding where we were often congratulated and had a breakfast table reserved, it was such a nice touch!We got married at the Country club and My best man and I stayed here the night before and my new wife and I stayed here after the wedding. We had looked at many other venues but Thorpeness offered us everything, their wedding packages were very reasonably priced with many options to choose from. The venue is simple yet elegant, allowing us to decorate to our own style and taste. I had proposed to my wife by the sea so being by the sea for our wedding felt absolutely perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for our wedding coordinators Melanie and Blaize, they were very accommodating and helpful.
