Very well organised by the staff, fabulous room for the wedding breakfast and evening do, but above all the food was absolutely amazing. Catering for 80 odd people is never easy but the meal was stunning. The beef, wow. Having just had our son’s wedding here, the staff went above and beyond to make sure that the day was special. The venue it self has some of the best views I've seen. If only I lived local I would be over there all the time. The staff went above and beyond, the food was beautiful and the views blew us away! The lakeside accommodation just made it even more special and as this was just a stone's throw from the main building we didn't have far to stumble after a fantastic evening of celebrating! The party have since raved about their experience, I know a lot of guests have actually returned to eat in the venues Italian restaurant and even book their own events. I stayed in one of the clubs ‘Cabins’ which was very well appointed and thankfully warm on what was a very cold weekend. The staff could not have been more helpful and attentive and the service was first class. The food, from breakfast in the morning to canapés in the afternoon to dinner in the evening to the burger and chips served at 10.00pm (!) were all of the highest quality. All the staff went out of their way to make the day memorable for the guests and of course the happy couple however I must mention two staff in particular who went the extra mile to keep us all happy throughout the day. Firstly Dan, who managed the staff on duty and ensured everything ran smoothly, was available thorough out the day and the evening and nothing was too much trouble for him. A truly hands on worker who truly cared about every guest and attended to our every need. There were a number of children in our party who ran around like children do and not once did I see the staff do anything but smile and play with them. Special mention also to the young man on the bar in the evening who dealt with a very busy and thirsty party with good humour and professionalism. His name was Luke (Allen). Don't be afraid to ask questions and make requests. A wedding is such a beautiful occasion and we want to make it special for you. Therefore we invite our couples to be as open and honest about what they are wanting for their wedding.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We love giving couples the freedom to express themselves! And we've seen the cutest ideas from embroidered napkins to cutting the cake with a real sword!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
As our venue is surrounded by 300 hundred acres of amazing rolling country side, there are fabulous photo opportunities at every turn. The best photo spot at our venue is a beautiful lake side walkway that provides a wonderful setting.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

What’s your favourite canapé?
It has to be our tempura king prawns!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
We wouldn't say no to a strawberry dipped in indulgent chocolate!

Our detached lakeside cabin, take a spa bath and wake up to views over the beautiful lake.
