Here at Tythe we've been hosting weddings since 1998....they're our 'thing'! Every wedding is different and that's what keeps us alive. Tythe provides you with a blank canvas upon which you can create the wedding day of your dreams. We are a small, friendly and dedicated team who are here to help you every step of the way. Arrive with us the day before or on the morning of your wedding and do the whole thing in one place - get ready in our impressive dressing rooms, enjoy your ceremony (indoor or outdoor), tuck into a delicious dining experience and party - a civilised affair or a rave. Following your celebrations, retire back with your closest family and friends to our beautiful Farmhouse - available for either a one or two night stay. The Farmhouse has seven double ensuite bedrooms, including a wedding-suite, two large reception rooms, a dining room, country kitchen, open fires, a tennis court, a wonderful wood-fuelled hot tub and there's an adjacent Shepherd's Hut with sleeping for two, all right next door to the barn! Our in-house caterers, Absolute Taste, just happen to be one of the best catering teams in the country and have a deep understanding for what our couples are after in terms of flavours and presentation. We're very confident that, having done a few, we know how to put on an unforgettable wedding. We had our wedding day in September and the venue was absolutely stunning. Being able to use The Farmhouse the night before really made it special to have all the guests together. It had everything we wanted, and being so close to the beautiful St Mary’s church (where we had our ceremony) it ticked all our boxes. We cannot recommend Tythe enough to anyone thinking of booking!As soon as we visited on an open day, we knew this venue was for us - we booked it right then and there! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
My own, of course - (my husband would kill me if I didn't say that!!) Other than ours I can honestly say, because they're all so different and because we go through the planning journey with every couple and it's like members of your own family getting married, the emotions are so intense and real so... each wedding is special to us!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Relax - let us do what we do best and plan and organise your day!!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
When a bride showed her mum and Grandma her positive pregnancy test from that morning - and they all stood and weeped with joy in our gardens!

What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our family have owned the venue for over 500 years and it has evolved with the times! Hosting celebrations in a 14th Century barn during the 21st Century!
