We knew from the moment we saw Merriscourt, and met Emily, that it was the venue we wanted to use to get married in. The venue itself has everything you could need to make your day special. The grounds are spectacular, we were fortunate that we had sunshine on our wedding day, but the views over the Cotswolds are stunning on even an overcast or rainy day with the outdoor spaces perfect for an outdoors ceremony, reception or even just photos. The barns have everything you need, and the team are incredibly knowledgeable with great suggestions on what to do with each space, but also flexible enough to allow you to customise your wedding and really make it your own. We really appreciated that they gave us access to the venue a few days early to set up, it really took the stress away and just made us feel even more welcome. The cottages on site are perfect for allowing your close friends and family to be close to you throughout the wedding, every detail was catered for, down to leaving food in the fridge for breakfast so that we did not have to think about bringing it with us. All of our family and friends remarked on how nice the cottages were, and how lovely it was to give them a space to get together before the wedding, as that was the first time many of them had met. We cannot thank the staff enough for how kind and helpful they were during our wedding day, and afterwards. But we must single out Paige, Eva, and most importantly Emily for all the guidance and support they gave us from the moment we came to see Merriscourt to even after we left. They have been so accommodating and understanding of all the little things that we wanted to incorporate into our wedding to make it special, it would not have been such a special day without them and we cannot thank them enough. If you want an unforgettable wedding that you’ll treasure for the rest of your life, we cannot recommend Merriscourt enough!

We got married at Merriscourt in September 2024, and we had the best day ever. It has to be the best place to get married in the Cotswolds. First, the obvious things. The venue is totally stunning. Whether it's rain or shine you've got magnificent views, country charm and a great space where all your guests can be together and in their own space at the same time. Got a large group of bridesmaids/groomsmen/family? They have you covered. They've got plenty of accommodation on site making it easy for guests who have mobility issues or for those friends who aren't all-night party go-ers. We were even able to stay the night before our wedding, meaning we got to wake up surrounded in the beautiful countryside and had no logistical issues to worry about! The food is incredible. We went for an all vegetarian set of canapes and mostly veggie meal, and despite plenty of our guests being meat lovers, we had multiple people say the food was stunning. Some friends said it was even better than the food at their wedding! Last, but not least, Emily, Paige and Eva are dream-makers. They're incomparably brilliant. From the moment we booked they helped us through everything. They answered I-don't-know-how-many email and calls from us whenever we needed to just double or triple check something. They had really helpful advice for how we could order the day and were so flexible when it came to our use of the venue and accommodation. You won't find a more reassuring set of people on a day (or many days) too. Also, they're all just very lovely and pleasant people you'll be happy to chat to! 10/10, you've found what you're looking for.

The location of Merriscourt is beautiful, the views are stunning and it is very secluded. It is a perfect wedding venue with the set up of how the barns and rooms are linked, with a lovely courtyard also. Emily and Eva were great to work with and always very quick to respond to questions. We were able to choose exactly what we wanted for our wedding breakfast, not something on the Merriscourt menu options. They are very accommodating and did a great job of adapting for guests with dietary requirements.

We recently had our wedding at Merriscourt, and we are absolutely thrilled with the entire experience. Words cannot fully capture how incredible Emily, Eva, and the entire Merriscourt team were in making our dreams come true. From start to finish, they ensured that we had a day we will never forget. Emily and Eva's dedication and expertise were evident in every detail. Their excellent communication made the planning process seamless and enjoyable. They were always available to answer our questions, offer suggestions, and provide reassurance. Their warm and attentive approach made us feel like the most important people in the world at all times. On the big day, the Merriscourt team went above and beyond to create a magical atmosphere. Every aspect of the venue was perfectly arranged, and their attention to detail was impeccable. The beauty of Merriscourt, combined with the team's exceptional service, created an unforgettable setting for our celebration. Our guests were equally impressed with the venue and the outstanding service. Emily and Eva's genuine care and professionalism shone through, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and that everyone felt welcomed and cherished. We cannot rate Merriscourt highly enough. If you're looking for a wedding venue where your dreams will come true and where you will be treated like royalty, Merriscourt is the place. Merriscourt is a truly stunning venue and was perfect for our winter wedding on NYE as they can host everything inside in the three barns with no need to go outside. The lovely accommodation is perfect for hosting the wedding party and means you can spread the celebrations over more than a day. Eva and Emily were a delight to work with and made planning soooo much easier. The planning meetings we had were so helpful and on the day Eva was amazing, ensuring everyone remained calm, and the day ran without a hitch. It is also worth noting that we found Merriscourt to be much more flexible, e.g. on decoration and corkage etc, than other wedding venues we looked at. The food was exceptional (we had lots of compliments from guests) and we hired their lovely Bentley which we would highly recommend.

We cannot explain how amazing our wedding at Merriscourt was. The venue is absolutely stunning, with multiple rooms for guests to experience. Emily, Eva & Artur were absolutely fantastic at coordinating the whole day and we felt very comfortable. Emily knew intuitively what we needed on the day and when, giving us drinks and canapés to make sure we were eating enough! She always checked to see how we were doing. The accommodation is just out of this world. Cosy open fires, incredibly comfortable beds and fridges stocked with local produce were just a few of the things that made the stay so incredible. Our families all mentioned what a fantastic time they had. I hope more people know about Merriscourt in the future because it is beautiful. Thank you for giving us the wedding of a lifetime!

Booking Merriscourt for our wedding was the best decision we could have made! Not only is the venue stunning (we fell in love with the stone barn the moment we saw it!), but the whole experience - from our first visit to the big day itself - exceeded all expectations. The team there are incredible and supported us every step of the way, with excellent communication and advice from the start. We always felt like we were in very safe hands! A special shout out to Eva who did such a fantastic job managing the day itself. She was such a warm and reassuring person to have around and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The service on the day was immaculate and everything ran like clockwork. The food was incredible! We went for a sharing menu and had a lot of fun choosing what to include (we were even able to include some tailor-made choices). It was the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding and several of our guests have said the same to me. Everyone went home very well fed! The accommodation was gorgeous and it was so special to be able to stay there the night before with our family and bridal party. We really did have the perfect day and cannot recommend Merriscourt enough!

The best venue ever! Merriscourt is so beautiful, and the staff are just amazing, they are so relaxed and will go out of their way to make sure you have the most perfect day. The cottages make such good accommodation for family and friends. The sharing board for our food was delicious and all our guests have complimented everything!

If we were to use one word to describe how our wedding day went at Merriscourt, it would be 'seamless'. Every part of the day was made easy, perfect and fun due to the amazing staff. Thank you so much for helping our day so special!
