We'd always had fantastic meals at the restaurant but seeing the care and attention the team put into our wedding has given me a whole new perspective on the venue and the staff. My wife Babette and I had our wedding breakfast and reception at the Mariners in September and honestly they couldn't have delivered a more perfect occasion for us and our guests. The support of the management throughout the whole process was such an appreciated help, we certainly wouldn't have been able to arrange such a magical event without them. The general manager Jack was an absolute star the whole time. He was on the ball with organising the entertainment, heared all of our requests for the food, ensured that the menu we requested was arranged and served properly and oversaw the actual day itself perfectly. The other managers Kody, Georgie and Rianna were also so helpful on the day I honestly feel like we owe them all such a debt of gratitude for the way they clearly cared about our experience and our hopes being met and surpassed in many ways. The food was incredible from the canapés, starters, mains, desserts and evening BBQ. The staff working the day before were really lovely and helped us decorate the interior and decking whenever they could, which really made the space our own. Of course, the venue is already gorgeous but it felt really special that we were able to create a more unique space that was consistent with our colour theme and everything. Thank you to the owners Tom and Renny who also were so responsive and positive throughout the whole planning. There's so much more I could say and go on for ages but at the end of the the day I'd like to say that if you're getting married or even just consideing options at whatever stage you're at, you check out the Three Mariners. They offer a beautiful and unique venue with a supportive and caring team who can deliver exceptional food, we highly recommend you get in touch just to see what is possible, even with a budget in mind. Which leads me onto my final point... and this was possibly the most appreciated of all. We went into the process knowing we had a very specific budget due to a personal situation and explained that to Jack, Tom and Renny the first time we met them when viewing the venue. I have to say how impressed I was with their ability to know exactly what our guests would need and what would make the wedding party so special while working within the budget we found ourselves with. There was no pressure to increase our spend and it made us both really emotional to see what they were able to achieve as we had been extremely anxious that we'd not be able to have the wedding we'd dreamed of because of our unforeseen budget restrictions. The way they handled this is a debt I feel like I could never repay. Their experience and contacts meant our dream wedding became a reality within the budget that we had and we couldn't be more grateful and impressed. Again, thank you to the whole staff! The Seafood was certainly some of the best I've had, and the deck with its bar was the perfect chill-out space with seating so close to the main party area.
