The Swan at Streatley is licensed for both indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies, accommodating up to 140 guests for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 200 standing for the evening reception. The riverside event space is filled with natural light and offer stunning panoramic views of the River Thames, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for your guests. Our dedicated event space also features a private bar, lounge, terrace, and expansive river-fronted gardens, with plenty of opportunities for the perfect wedding photo.
With 47 en-suite bedrooms, The Swan at Streatley ensures comfort and convenience for you and your guests. Many of our rooms boast picturesque views of the river and gardens, providing a peaceful retreat after the festivities of the day. - DDanny & Gaynor28/11/2025The Best Day Ever The Best Day EverMy wife and I held our wedding at the Swan at Streatley in June 2025 and it was just fantastic. Hennes and the team made the day so easy, stress free and without a hitch (that we saw anyway). For us it was flawless - apart from the AirCon failing the day before in the main ceremony area, but that was out of their control. It looked amazing, the weather held out and the food was top drawer (and we're foodies). We felt looked after throughout the whole process from start to finish. Our friends and family also concluded it was the best Wedding ever!My wife and I held our wedding at the Swan at Streatley in June 2025 and it was just fantastic. - AAmy and Christian27/11/2025Wicks Wedding Wicks WeddingThe wedding day went very smoothly thanks to the events team! I did feel like I was constantly chasing the team in the lead up to the day. The morning of the wedding, we tried calling reception multiple times and there was no answer so I had to go down in my pyjamas to ask for more milk. Also we did ask for roast potatos and we certainly didn’t have those they were more like fried new potato’s. AThe evening food was taken away after only 1 hour and a half and there was so much left which was such a waste of money for us, especially considering how expensive the venue is having to spend a certain amount (we had to order extra to reach the limit). What they should have done was announce that it would be taken away shortly so guests could go back. Many of our guests said they went to eat and the food had gone! The morning after when we were due to have breakfast we were given a separate area which was nice but each order was taken at different times and every single order was incorrect - including forgetting to bring out my one year olds food when everyone else’s had finally been delivered. We got married here last week and it was truly the best day of our lives! The river views with this venue are beautiful and we were so lucky the sun was shining all day! The hotel is gorgeous and the reception staff were so lovely and accommodating. The events team are amazing! Nothing was ever too much of an ask. A huge thank you to Imy and Charlie who helped us plan our day from the very beginning and another huge thank you to Hennes and Laura who ensured our day ran smoothly and exactly how we wanted it to! The catering and bar staff are all so friendly and welcoming too! We cannot wait to return to the Swan which now holds so many incredible memories for us! What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We've had all sorts of fun ideas at The Swan, a personal favourite was when one bride brought in real Llamas, which we had on the lawn during the drinks reception - it was such a hit with the guests.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The best spot for photos has to be right on the lawns, on the banks of the River Thames - make sure to get a group photo from up high in one of our bedrooms.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We couldn't possibly say ;)
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our parmesan croquettes are always a hit with guests and are the first ones to go!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
It's tough to choose, but you can't go wrong with a bottle of champagne to finish the night off!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
It has to be our stunning riverside location - you simply can't get that in many places. The views of the river from the event space make for the perfect backdrop.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The people. Everyone at The Swan at Streatley is friendly and welcoming, it's great to work with such an amazing, supportive team who work hard to give our guests the best experience possible.
