We were lucky enough to have stumbled upon Wasing Park off the recommendation of a family member - and wow, it ticked all of the boxes when we had our first visit! Wasing Park feels so much more than just a wedding venue, thanks to the size and array of spaces that both you and your guests are able to enjoy, feeling far more like your own village for the day. Food and drink are a key highlight at Wasing Park, with many of our guests hugely impressed by the menu, the taste on the day and the way in which the chef accommodated for dietary requirements (“It was the best food that I’ve ever had at a wedding” from someone who has a few dietary challenges). The Wasing Experience evening - aka menu tasting but better - really set the standard for the day. We were lucky enough to have Imogen assigned to us for our wedding day, and she and the team worked tirelessly to ensure everything went smoothly. From setting up intricate decorative detail through to ensuring that both me and Lucy had the day of our dreams. Thanks so much to Wasing Park for giving us the best day! We wouldn’t have changed a single second, and would so highly recommend this venue. We had the wedding of our dreams at Wasing Park!! The venue is truly stunning, the grounds and rooms are very well kept and the staff has been so helpful since the moment we decided to sign up. Jenna, our event coordinator on the day has been so hands on and flexible throughout the whole event and through the planning before. There is a great planning system in place before the main day to ensure everything is set up and running as intended. The food menu deserves it’s own shoutout - all our guests kept talking about how great the food was! We couldn’t have picked a better venue!We had the wedding of our dreams at Wasing Park!! The venue is truly stunning, the grounds and rooms are very well kept and the staff has been so helpful since the moment we decided to sign up. We honestly don’t have enough words to say how perfect our wedding day at Wasing Park was. From the moment we first visited, we had no other venue in mind - the grounds, the castle barn and the accommodation all on-site, it was everything we were looking for! We had Imogen as our venue coordinator. She was warm, calm and completely on top of everything. We always felt supported in the lead-up to the day and on the day itself, she made everything flow so smoothly that we could just enjoy every second without stress. The food and drinks were another highlight to our day, from the canapés, wedding breakfast and truffles, all the way through to the evening pizza everything was delicious and the staff were brilliant. Every little detail was thought through and taken care of. It really allowed us to be in the moment, surrounded by the people we love in a place that felt truly magical. Wow, where do we even start? We had the best day ever on Friday and I don’t think we’ll ever put into words how amazing Wasing Park was at every stage of the process. From the food, to the accommodation, to the incredible architecture and most importantly the exceptional service from everyone involved - our day was perfect. Emma, Shadee and Imogen, we had total confidence in you and we didn’t have to lift a finger all day. Even the staff handing out the canapés were first to say congratulations to us, it was so lovely! A big thank you to the Bar Manager, Mark, who was hugely attentive and was discrete with our guest who is at the early stages of pregnancy, sneaking her some Nosecco! Everything we asked for was done without a fuss and it’s clear you are experts at what you do.Wow, where do we even start? Amazing is an understatement Amazing is an understatement
We had our wedding at Wasing Park on 24th June 2022 and to say it was amazing is an understatement. Every aspect of this venue is incredible, its stunning grounds, amazing overnight rooms for your guests, the staff, the chefs - just everything! We have received so many comments from our guests complimenting the food served on the day, many saying it’s the best food they've ever had at a wedding! - We agree! A special mention needs to go to our wedding coordinator Shadee. She was absolutely incredible! From our first meeting 6 weeks before the wedding (when you get a dedicated coordinator to liaise with) we knew we had a good'un. Honestly, this woman needs a medal - her organisation skills are out of this world, our whole day flew without a glitch - even when faced with a last minute unexpected switch up to the timings of the day Shadee took any concerns away from us and dealt with everything - keeping us informed the whole time! So thank you so much Shadee and the team for being so amazing on our day, every little detail put into our wedding has not gone unnoticed - from a private drink together after the ceremony (while our guests prepared for the confetti shot), to a plate of canapes being tucked away for us in the castle barn for a quiet 10 minutes in there before our guests were invited in! And not forgetting our evening coordinator who saved us some cake and donuts to take to bed at the end of the night! Everything was thought of, and there is not one thing that we would do differently! Thanks to the whole team, and to anyone who is thinking about having their day here... Do It! Firstly thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You were the definition of calm all day and that was honestly such a breath of fresh air every time we saw you! From the moment you arrived in the honeymoon suite (to my mini meltdown!) you made me feel so relaxed even though we were late, you clearly explained everything that was going to happen at every point throughout the day and we couldn’t have asked for more. You brought us refreshments, checked to make sure everything was where it needed to be, locked people in when they were leaving and the singing waiters were about to start and never once did you or your team seem stressed! Alex and I both work in events and catering and honestly you have such a bright future ahead of you in your career, your professionalism, politeness, proficiency and personality is unwavering. Our day would not have been the same without you - the first thing Alex and I spoke about when we made it to bed was how amazing you were with both of us before the ceremony! The other lady who was helping you on the day, Fiona was just as incredible, as well as our evening event manager who saved us pizza which we thoroughly enjoyed in bed back in the room! The team at Wasing have been nothing but fabulous since we first started planning our wedding over 3 years ago now! bearing with us through all of the postponements, making things so easy for us and nothing was ever too much effort. We both feel so so glad that we chose Wasing to have our special day at, every member of staff we have come across has been fantastic and all of our guests were saying what a stunning venue it is, how amazing the day was and how incredible the food is! (Which we couldn’t agree more with!) We really couldn't have wished for a better day! Our event manager Imogen went over and above to help us in the lead up to & on the day, helping me getting into my dress, putting my perfume on, jewellery on etc & making sure everything was just right on the day and that it all ran smoothly. And the rest of the team including Shadee were fab in the evening! We are so grateful for everything and will remember our special day forever, so thank you all so much to the team at Wasing for making it our dream day! We wanted to say a huge thank you for all of your support on Saturday, it really was such a wonderful day. We've had so many compliments from our family and friends not only about the venue setting, but also about the quality of the food and the service from all of the team that looked after us on the day. Everything was faultless. Thank you for all of your support over the last two years and for your sensitivity in such a challenging time of postponements. We're incredibly grateful for your flexibility, allowing us to wait and have the day we had always hoped for. We knew immediately that Wasing Park was special and we're so pleased that we were able to marry there. Finally, it was also a pleasant surprise to meet the owner who was so warm and welcoming. I hope they had a great celebration on Sunday. It really was the most incredible day and we're forever grateful that we were able to get married at Wasing Park. I just wanted to say thank you for making our daughter, Milly, and her now husband Chris Pelmore’s wedding run so smoothly on bank holiday. It’s amazing how everything was turned around from the previous day, so we would have thought the whole place had been set up for us days before! Such an efficient team. Particular shout out and thanks to Liam and Cathy. All the waiting staff were great - charming, very helpful, well organised - we’d like to mention in particular Charlie and many others whose names we don’t know but would like to thank, the chef and kitchen staff (lots of compliments about the food), groundsmen and gardeners (lots of compliments about the grounds and flower beds) , cleaners and housekeepers who we know turned the rooms around so quickly.
