- SS & Z17/08/2025A phenomenal & dedicated team, wonderful venueA phenomenal & dedicated team, wonderful venueWe were lucky enough to get married at Stanlake on a gorgeous sunny August day, so it felt like a destination wedding. As two women, the team was inclusive and did not make us feel at any point that our wedding was "other" Being able to stay on-site at their Lodges added a touch of magic to the whole weekend, allowing us to run off for an outfit change for the dancefloor. The wines were fantastic and guests loved being able to taste wine from the vineyard throughout the day. Due to a hiccup during planning, we ended up switching to the Stanlake Team later in the process than usual, and they couldn't have been more supportive (huge thanks to Natalia, Lydia and Amber!) - being flexible to all our suggestions and making the day run seamlessly. Both us and some of our guests noted on the day how everything was going perfectly without noticing the team were really there. The venue itself is relaxed and gorgeous, with ceremony spaces (we opted for indoor in the barn) plus lawn space for garden games. The dinner & dancefloor is a separate building so no need to wait for rooms to be flipped and the day was full of fun. That and the smooth running of timings without stress and the wedding guests can relax in the colourful surroundings really adds to the day and shines really well on the couple. What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We’re always fascinated by how creative our couples are! We’ve been genuinely impressed by thoughtful, sustainable touches — like using our corks for table names or repurposing our recycled wine bottles as unique centrepieces. It’s wonderful to see couples embracing what makes Stanlake Park special: the peaceful countryside setting, combined with sustainable choices and modern comforts. Seeing them make it their own is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
A favourite photo spot at Stanlake Park has to be among the vineyard rows at golden hour — with the soft light, peaceful countryside around, and the vines stretching behind you, it feels almost like being in Tuscany.
And for something timeless and grand, the front of the Grade II listed Coach House with its stunning brickwork and historic charm is always a show-stopper.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We are not sure! But we are certainly ready for them!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our marinated prawn lolly pops with sesame seeds, chives and roasted garlic dip. They are delicious, and look so beautiful!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
There’s no denying it — pizza is the ultimate crowd-pleaser and one of the all-time favourite evening treats for wedding guests.

Our most unique feature is that we’re a historic, real working vineyard — sipping wines made just steps away, surrounded by vines and timeless beauty. And the best part? You can come back every year for an anniversary toast where it all began.
