The Steadings vast window perfectly frames the breathtaking views of skies, beautiful rolling green hills and the iconic Bennachie.
Exposed stone walls and a contemporary oak staircase unites the two floors together. The Steadings extensive upper level which has a French country chic vibe, is an elegant space for dining. Our rustic wood tables offer plenty of room for table settings and decor.
There are three luxury properties on Schivas estate ; Newton House, South Lodge and West Lodge that are available for you and your weddings guests.
Newton house sleeps fourteen over seven double ensuite bedrooms. There is a sitting and dining room, both with open fires and a large fully fitted kitchen with a colt blue aga taking centre stage. Popular with house guests of all ages, is our seven seater hot tub. Guests staying in our accommodation also have access to our indoor heated swimming pool.

Yes, our venue offers both indoor and outdoor options for your wedding ceremony and reception.
Do you offer catering services?
Whilst we do not offer in-house catering services we have a list of tried and tested vendors that we highly recommend. You are not tied to our list of recommended suppliers, you have the option to choose whomever you wish, with no extra venue charge.
Is The Schivas Steading dog friendly?
Of course. Our whole estate is dog friendly including the steadings itself and our accommodation.

What's included when you book The Schivas Steading? - No extra cost
Venue hire is from 9:30 the day before the wedding, for you to over see venue dressing and set up or if you are creative and are dressing the venue yourself you have the whole day so no stressing the morning of the big day.
On your wedding day it will be fully co-ordinated by our wedding manager Tracy leaving you to enjoy every second.
Our Wedding Content Creator Dani who will capture candid photos and videos of your day that are sent straight to your phone the next day.
All furniture is included - Tables, chairs, Barrels, fairy lights, easels, sail boards and we even have an arch.
