The Ridgeway Barns is an exclusive wedding and events venue nestled in the heart of the North Wessex Downs, on the borders of Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and West Berkshire. We specialise in three-day exclusive hire with farmhouse accommodation for up to 18 guests, to allow you to really make the most of your celebrations. We pride ourselves on creating a home-from-home atmosphere, giving you the time to gather with friends and family, and beautiful spaces in which you can celebrate. Whether you’re after an intimate wedding in the farmhouse or you want to party the night away in our 19th century threshing barn, we aim to provide you with the flexibility and support to celebrate your day ~ your way. Our dedicated events team will work with you to curate the day of your dreams, supporting you throughout your planning and working discretely to ensure your event runs smoothly on your big day. We are fully licenced for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, sale of alcohol and entertainment. Choose an intimate indoor ceremony for your nearest and dearest, a larger outdoor celebration under our gorgeous oak-framed gazebo while enjoying views down the valley, or marry in the rustic Threshing Barn. Keep it small and dine in the farmhouse, or include the barn to expand your celebrations. And if one day just isn't enough, invite everyone back the next day for a casual brunch or BBQ!

Weekday Weddings from £4,500 to £6,500 (applicable Mondays to Thursdays) includes:
- Exclusive use of the venue from 10 am to midnight on the day of your wedding.
- Indoor and outdoor ceremony options.
- Designated Event Manager.
- Freedom to choose your own suppliers.
- Staffed bar.
Weekend Weddings from £6,250 (applicable Fridays to Sundays) and includes all of the above. Please note, weekend weddings must be booked with 2 nights of accommodation, priced separately.
Accommodation pricing from £2,250 (weekdays) or £3,500 (weekends), which includes luxury accommodation for 15-18 for two nights. Multi-day access to the threshing barn is also included when you book two nights of accommodation.

The farm itself is set in utterly outstanding surrounds and the Ridgeway Barns make full use of that. The bar staff were kind and fun and the range and price of drinks was fantastic! We didnt want the weekend to end! We can not thank Louisa and the team enough for their hard work and dedication. They really do make you feel like you're the only wedding taking place that year. What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
It never ceases to amaze me the creative ways couples come up with displaying their seating plans - from beautiful stationary, to flowers to surf boards, they can be such a centre piece to greet your guests.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are so many, and every photographer finds a new way to capture our couples and the venue. I just love watching how the seasons change the backdrop to our oak gazebo, with stunning views down the valley, across farmland and over to Sugar Hill.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
I'm certainly no spotter, but.. KT Tunstall! She headlined at the Summer Breeze festival held here in 2012 (okay, so not a wedding but let's not get too pernickety). And in summer 2024 we were lucky enough to be joined by Glastonbury veterans Stornoway at one of our weddings.
What’s your favourite canapé?
How can you possibly choose? Canapes are amazing!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Personally I don't think you can ever go wrong with a good wood-fired pizza - but what's your favourite topping?!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Don't you just love waking up to those views?! Whether it's the green shoots of spring, the golden glory of late-summer, autumn harvest or a frosty winter morning, the views from the farmhouse and garden are just magical.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We've had the privilege of seeing so many fabulous couples get married and celebrate here, and the feedback from clients and guests couldn't be better.
