The Ridgeway Barns

We attended a wedding yesterday and we were blown away with how amazing everything was. The food was great, the bar was run so well, all the staff were very friendly and worked with smiles on their faces. The best wedding venue we've ever been to!

Splendid venue, Staff amazing, Louisa goes above and beyond to make your day special. Thank you to everyone, exceptional in every way, a more than perfect weekend.

We really cannot fault anything with supplier and venue. Having attended hotel venues this farmhouse, barn and garden was by far superior. We hired the venue for whole weekend and had party Friday night, wedding on Saturday and BBQ on Sunday. The farmhouse where bridal couple and 13 guests could stay was beautiful and wonderfully looked after. The gardens and views of the downs was stunning. The long Threshing barn was perfect for the wedding breakfast of 90 and later became a dance floor. The stretch tent nicely fits an 8 part orchestra. And of course a big thank you to Louisa who held our hands all the way. X

WOW! What a weekend we had. Thank you so so SO much for all your help across the weekend and the planning before. We had the best time ever and The Ridgeway Barns was the perfect place to host our wedding. Georgina, we really appreciated your calmness and nothing was ever too much, so thank you. Your team were also lovely on the day.

We had our wedding here last weekend and I cannot express how absolutely incredible the people are. Since our first conversation Louisa has made this process so smooth & stress free. Her attention to detail is second to none and knew our wedding plan more than I did!!! The venue was stunning, the barn & farmhouse is like a fairy tale, and the beautiful green fields and horses backdrop was so beautiful. If I could leave a 6* review I would, can't recommend them enough.

Thank you so much to all the team at Ridgeway Barns! Louisa and Jess both went above and beyond for us both and were incredibly flexible and accommodating to all our needs. They both could not have done more for us and made the planning process easier because of it. The house itself was perfect for our intimate wedding and The Old Stables was ideal for getting ready on the day too! The day would not have been the same if it wasn’t for the gardens which are incredibly well kept and beautiful.

What a fantastic day we had! The Ridgeway Barns is a dream wedding location with an amazing team to guide you through the planning maze and to run the day for you to ensure everything is just perfect. We were so lucky with the weather and we married outside in the gazebo with a jaw dropping backdrop of gorgeous countryside. The threshing barn looked fabulous where we had our wedding breakfast and also the evening party with bar and disco. I cannot recommend this venue enough it is just perfect. Book early to avoid disappointment!

My daughter had her wedding reception there on Tuesday. We couldn't fault the venue, the staff or the overnight accommodation. Everything was magnificent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone looking for somewhere to hold their special event.

We booked the Ridgeway Barns quite early on in the renovations and our faith was rewarded. It came together as a truly beautiful venue, Louisa and her team made everything come together perfectly, and Louisa in particular made sure all our needs were met even when our choices or budgets had to change. The location, size and aesthetic of the place were mindblowing but was well within our budget. It had the feel and quality that you would have to pay extortionately to achieve elsewhere - and that's before even considering we had it from Tuesday to Thursday and slept almost half the guests in the house! This place is a no brainer to book, any time of year, for any type of budget, for any style of wedding it really has that much flexibility with the barn itself, the gardens, and the close personal ambiance the house has. It was literally perfect for our wedding as we wanted a smaller much more relaxed wedding. A lot of our guests stayed and they took full advantage with most of them taking naps in their rooms during such a long day. We had an open self supplied bar, a buffet plus some extra food we provided, and just generally it was small intimate but so relaxed and fun.

We can't believe it's already been 5 months but we just wanted to say a big thank you for the amazing day that The Ridgeway Barns gave us! Despite the storm, our day was exactly how we imagined and we couldn't have asked for anymore. Our family and friends were so impressed with the venue, we had compliments all around. We have been following your socials and think you're doing an amazing job with developing the venue. we're sure 2024 will be even better than last year for you.
