As an award-winning wedding venue in the heart of the Kentish countryside, the philosophy of The Night Yard is flexibility. Surrounded by acres of apple orchards, The Night Yard provides couples with a neutral palette, allowing you to dress the venue to match the wedding of your dreams. With a portfolio of handpicked suppliers, the day can be created to suit you.
Under the Eaves in the intimate Courtyard, you and your guests can be mesmerised by the beauty of love, and soothed by the open space lawn. The Courtyard is an outdoor wedding ceremony option situated at the heart of the venue, licensed for civil ceremonies with a unique set-up. It allows for you to walk down the aisle together, as a couple, with its two gated entrance: how romantic! After your ceremony, it will be transformed into a whimsical open space for you and your loved ones to enjoy drinks and delicious canapés before your wedding breakfast in The Glasshouse.
There is no place as calming as The Night Yard’s Glasshouse. To ease those ceremony nerves, this stunning indoor option, also licensed for civil ceremonies, gives you all the space, air and light to make your wedding day as tranquil as can be. With oak flooring, warm festoon lighting and dimmable chandeliers to fit the mood of your wedding, this is the perfect spot to tie the knot. The space can then be transformed into your reception and evening celebration setting.
The Gallery is a flexible space with cosy seating which can be used throughout the day to take a moment and reflect over your wedding day. With vaulted, beamed ceilings and large bright doors, it can be used to house so many things – from photo booths to dance machines!
The Snug begins as a secret entrance to get ready before the ceremony and remains open throughout the day for the couple to freshen up.
The Bar is always a popular location during any wedding, so with a fully stocked and staffed bar included in the hire price, your guests won’t go thirsty!

We have a really simple pricing structure here at The Night Yard - it is single hire price no matter the day or month.
We deliver the same fantastic service all year round, and our venue hire price for a Full Day wedding is £5,900 (9am to 11pm)
We also offer a Twilight package at £4,500 (with access from 1pm - 11pm, Monday to Thursday only)
The venue hire charge includes a professional and experienced team of events managers that will be on hand to answer any questions and to guide you through the lead up to your big day, co-ordination of your wedding, right through to the saying goodbyes at the end of what will be the best day ever!
You will have exclusive use of the venue. Lockers are provided to allow drop off and pick up of any items the evening before the wedding and the day after. There is parking for up to 80 cars, including 2 allocated disabled spaces. You have the option of 3 designated ceremony areas to accommodate all weathers! There are multiple chill out areas for your guests and also a exclusive room for the Bride and Groom to freshen up in. In our stunning Glasshouse you have various seating options for your reception and can choose from round or trestle tables. We provide a beautiful vintage cake table and knife.
The Night Yard Bar is always fully stocked and staffed to delight your guests and we have a fully amplified venue, so no matter where your guests may be, they will still hear the speeches! Our outdoor area is fully enclosed making it child friendly and venue hire includes use of the fire pit and branded night yard deck chairs and festoon lighting!

From the moment we first looked around 2 years ago we can’t fault anyone at the night yard. Everyone is super friendly accommodating and helpful. They are always quick to answer calls and emails, helping with every detail. Massive shout out to Kerry for going above and beyond even timing my walk in 30 degree heat so I could plan my music accordingly. Everyone in our wedding party has commented on how well they were looked after and how no guest wanted for anything. We also booked the games package and everyone enjoyed playing them even the adults. The venue alone is simply beautiful and we only minimally decorated to keep the authentic character, the orchard behind was also beautiful and we got some great photos there. We would 1000% recommend The Nightyard to anyone and everyone it’s simple amazing. Kerry i will miss our emails. Thanks again to everyone at The Nightyard you made our wedding dreams come true S & HWe had our wedding at the night yard on 08/08/25. The team are helpful, flexible and accommodating - even when we were doing the majority of the planning over email given we live abroad. All the guests loved the venue, it's just beautiful and the space was perfect for our 100 guests. All the guests commented on what a beautiful venue The Night Yard is. The food from MK Catering was amazing. The whole vibe was exactly as my daughter and her partner hoped, a really country wedding where everyone could feel relaxed. We would thoroughly recommend this venue!What a day! We couldn't have asked for anything more, The Night Yard Staff were fantastic, helping us every step of the way. All the guests commented on what a beautiful venue The Night Yard is. The venue is amazing and so are the Staff. I am disabled in a wheelchair and a girl came out to greet me and looked out for me all day. Even bringing sun cream out to me. Everything was seamless and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. All of our guests were so impressed with the venue and staff too, so professional yet so warm and welcoming at the same time. So beautiful, we couldn’t have picked a more perfect place for the day!!! We had our wedding here just last week and loved every single minute of it! We cannot recommend the staff and the venue enough. Everything was seamless and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Myself my new husband and all of our family are still in complete awe of Kerry and her team ! The venue was just perfect and we felt so looked after by them, nothing was a problem! they even helped us set up in the morning which was so amazing. Every wedding is so beautiful that we feel so privileged to be chosen to host your special day. We are dedicated to offering the flexibility to make your day as unique as possible. Want your horse to walk you down the aisle - we've got you, dogs for ring bearers - not a problem, arriving by helicopter - absolutely!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Take inspiration from Pinterest, Instagram, and other social media but don’t get too caught up in the trends. Always remember what is most important to you and your partner and make sure all your decisions reflect that. If you don't like cake but love cheese, then ditch the traditional wedding cake and opt for a cheese tower - it's your day after all!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We had a stunning photo display created on the dresser in our "Vintage Corner". It was made up of beautifully framed photos of when the couples parents, grandparents and great-grandparents got married themselves.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The orchards in blossom, the sunflower field, "Bertie", our vintage tractor, the beautiful swing hung from a tree looking out over the fields, there are so many to choose from!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
That would be telling!!
What’s your favourite canapé?
We love them all! We are BIG lovers of food at the night yard, but we recognise we all have different tastes, with that in mind we have some amazing hand-picked suppliers who can offer you a variety of food options to match your preferences and budget.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Smores - with marshmallows cooked over our firepit, everyone cuddled up with blankets under the stars - the perfect end to an evening spent with family and friends.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our fabulous contemporary Glasshouse stands in a central courtyard surrounded by a beautiful cloistered barn. These stunning features contribute to making the whole venue quite unique.
