Choose to exchange vows in our beautifully designed ceremony suite or hold a church service at one of the charming nearby parish churches. Wherever you say your vows, the peaceful setting around Pyes Mill adds a sense of calm that sets the tone for your whole day.
Inside, The Locks blends soft stone textures, exposed beams and modern décor with open, airy spaces flooded with natural light. The wedding breakfast room feels elegant yet relaxed and can be styled to match your personalities, whether you imagine rustic romance, contemporary minimalism or bright, joyful colour. There’s plenty of room for seated dining, a dance floor and evening entertainment, making it just as perfect for intimate celebrations as it is for larger parties.
As day turns to evening, the venue takes on a warm, atmospheric glow ideal for live music, a DJ set, or a more laid-back, candlelit celebration. Along the canal and through the surrounding countryside, you’ll find endless photo opportunities, especially during sunset hour.
The Locks also offers beautifully designed on-site accommodation.
You will enjoy a luxurious Bridal Suite for the night of your wedding, with 20 additional bedrooms available for loved ones. Choose a flexible arrangement with rooms in the Bridal Wing only and exlusive venue use or opt for full venue and hotel exclusivity perfect for making the whole venue your own for the weekend.
Every room has been thoughtfully created with comfort and privacy in mind, so you and your guests can relax fully and enjoy the celebration without the need to travel. We have dog friendly rooms too.

In the evening, tables are moved around the sides of the room to create space for entertainment and dancing, allowing your celebration to continue into the night with a comfortable and spacious dance floor area.

Pre-Wedding Access, Set-Up & Storage
To help your wedding morning feel organised and stress-free subject to availability, couples may access the room the day prior to their wedding to decorate.
If the room is unavailable, our team will follow your instructions and set everything up exactly as planned on the day.
We are happy to store décor items, accessories and your wedding cake safely the day before your wedding.
Our team will ensure every detail is arranged beautifully for your arrival.
Pet-Friendly Ceremonies
Pets are welcome to join your ceremony and be part of your special day.
We simply ask that a designated responsible adult accompanies and cares and picks up for them throughout the event.
Wedding Package Inclusions
Every package includes exclusive hire of The Locks Venue, your Wedding Coordinator, an on-the-day Coordinator, table linen, napkins, centrepieces (varying by package), easels for your table plan and welcome sign, cake table and knife, gift table and more.

Do you have shelter in your gardens?
For couples wishing to extend their celebration outdoors in addition to the indoor venue and hotel, we offer the option to add a marquee or tipi on the lawn for an additional fee.
This provides a beautiful outdoor entertaining space ideal for canapes and drinks receptions, relaxed dining, entertainment, or evening chill-out lounges.
