We were guided by Conor every step of the way and the day went without any problem at all. The food and the service were excellent. We liked it so much that we decided to have our wedding reception there this year and we had an absolutely amazing time. The food was really good and there was lots of it, the bar staff were very helpful and attentive and Leah was particularly good and had the genius idea of moving the prosecco to do it with the speeches and the dance which worked really well. All the guests said how lovely the venue was and they all said they had the best night!. Rosie was very helpful, friendly and professional at co-ordinating everything for us and planning the event.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

We had the most lovely couple who were so keen to sit with all of the friends and family that they sat together at a different table for each course of their dinning. It was the sweetest thing to see them make the effort to be with everyone who had attended.

A big ask to narrow such a wonderfully unique venue down into just five words! But rustic, characterful, intimate, historic, & memorable, would be my best efforts.

We have the most wonderful working waterwheel within the building itself. With its foundations as old as the 16th century and the wheel itself being an brilliant example of industrial ironwork its both historically incredible but also visually amazing.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

While perhaps an odd choice, he team who work beside me to make your day as memorable as it deserves to be. Their the most wonderful people and I have seen them go above and beyond countless times to ensure everything is perfect for you and your guests.
