The breathtaking surroundings of Epping Forest provide a picture-perfect backdrop for your special day. Within the venue, you’ll find three beautifully designed ceremony spaces, including the option to exchange vows overlooking our original 1930s lido:
· The Kings Room – Elegant and versatile, this air-conditioned space accommodates 120 seated guests or up to 200 standing.
· The Beach Club Marquee – Chic and stylish, perfect for ceremonies of up to 125 guests or for hosting 80 guests for your wedding breakfast or evening celebration.
- The Kings Suite - For larger celebrations, the bi-folding doors between the Kings Room and Marquee open to create a spacious connected area, perfect for 200 seated or 300 standing guests
- Pool Gardens – A stunning outdoor space with a tiki bar, Marbella-style champagne beds, and a 100-foot art deco lido pool with a 1920s fountain — unforgettable for photos.
- Victorian Oak Lounge – A cosy, traditional room featuring ornate ceilings and chandeliers. Seats 80 for your ceremony, 50 for dining, and 80 for your evening party.

- MMichel22/10/2025Fabulous VenueFabulous VenueThe Kings Oak was just the perfect space from the moment I walked I loved the fact that we could do the ceremony and wedding all in one place, everything we needed was all one level, didn’t have to worry parking or Outdoor space to take pictures. The room on the day drew gasps from myself and the guest it look more beautiful than imagined. The Kings Oak was perfect for this with its location being away from a residential environment, as well as the perfect location, only being walking distance from High Beach beautiful church where we got married. My favourite memories, there are too many to count! The drive from the church to the Kings Oak through the forest with Harry was so special, then just start to finish, arrival, speeches, drinks flowing, dancing with all our nearest and dearest at the Kings Oak, it was so special! Our perfect day! Paula and the ladies were so personable and listened to everything we wanted: they even made it possible to have more space on the day of our wedding to make the flow better for our number of guests. The day and evening ran seamlessly and nothing was too much to ask! I would highly recommend The Kings Oak for the best wedding party!!! The venue is just beautiful , and needs little vision (I was a Bride who didn't have much !!) The following 6 months everything just ran smoothly. They were constantly in contact , and they have lots of recommendations with regards DJ's , sax's etc. Food choices were all great , and everything was super easy to del with and pay . Looks like a 6, rustic style hotel, very well located next to Epping forest on the one side and watching over a vast valley on the other. Would make a nice place for private parties or even weddings. Ooh chips were lonely, chunky, and crispy, exactly the way I like. 👍 Only visited the place for some chips to go with the seafood from the Oyster Shack next door. Looks like a 6, rustic style hotel, very well located next to Epping forest on the one side and watching over a vast valley on the other. Would make a nice place for private parties or even weddings. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
All of our weddings here have many magical moments, both for our Wedding Couples and for our own Kings Oak Team.
A particularly spectacular wedding was when we hosted a 250 Indian wedding celebration. The Groom arrived in a fully decorated rickshaw which lead the procession of his family and friends through the forest with traditional drummers leading the way. The contrast of the vibrant colours of the Indian saris against the lush green backdrop of our Forest was truly stunning.
The Ceremony was held outside overlooking our magnificent pool and pool gardens which were decorated with the most beautiful and bright floral displays and gold elephants. The whole event took our breath away.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
There are various different unique & quaint touches that our Couples bring to their special day. Some of our favourites are as follows:
Stylised Bridal Party entrance, when they ask their Bridesmaids & Groomsmen to add their own touches to the aisle walk.
The Bride & Groom entrance prior to the Wedding Feast, we encourage them to 'milk the moment' and this delights their guests.
Wedding table games are always a fun addition to the proceedings.
We at Kings Oak add our own personal touch which we call the 'KO Moment' where we seat the Bride & Groom alone together for a fifteen minute interlude after the ceremony & photos & before the entrance to the meal. We give them a glass of Bubbly & Canapes and allow them a moment to reflect on the Ceremony & their vows and to catch their breath. The day is in danger of becoming a whirlwind of tasks and this just gives them a precious moment of calm & togetherness, which our Couples greatly appreciate.
