Flawless...

I can’t even put into words how lucky i feel to have chosen High House as our venue. This was the first venue we visited and we booked instantly without hesitation (which is unlike me, normally i would have been looking through all reviews). From booking all the way up to the wedding day, the service was absolutely flawless. You feel instantly at ease and it’s obvious that this venue has got weddings down to a tea.

From the moment we stepped on the grounds of High House for a viewing 2 years ago, we just knew it was the venue for us. I have no other words to describe High House than utter perfection. The team at High House are true professionals, they are super organised and their experience speaks volumes. We were led through the entire process and had complete confidence for our wedding day. We could never choose just one, as we have had so many amazing weddings here and they all unique. We absolutely love helping couples put their own special touches on the venue and making the day their own.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Think about what you want for your day and not what you 'think' you should have. We really encourage our couples to think about what they love and enjoy and make those things part of their day.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

One of our brides had sadly lost her dad not long before her wedding day. She wanted to have something here that would remind her of her dad throughout the day, he loved fishing so she set up a chair and fishing rod next to our pond which overlooks our reception drinks space. It was a lovely touch to remember her dad.

Where’s the best photo spot at High House Weddings?

We love the vineyard, it's a favourite for our couples. We also have our weeping willow tree in front of our of beautiful Monet inspired bridge. Photographers are always mentioning how beautiful our landscape is and how they are spoilt for choice for photo opportunities!
