Our event manager was Ella and she made us feel completely at ease and was always on hand to answer any questions we had, her calm nature and excellent organisation was very much appreciated. The team on the day made sure that everything was perfect for us and made the place look amazing. We cannot recommend High House enough, the barn and orangery are beautiful.High House is the perfect place to get married! The staff are all so lovely and helpful! We fell in love with it as soon as we walked through the entrance at our first viewing, and we’re so excited at the prospect of the Orangery. The grounds are absolutely stunning and the fact that the bridal suite, family’s accommodation and our honeymoon suite were all onsite just made for the perfect experience. Not only were we in love with the venue but as we started planning we realised that with the perfect venue came the most amazing staff! Wow wow where do I start with this venue! From the moment we first saw the venue and met Lily we knew this was our special place. Everyone is professional and friendly and they make you feel part of the High House family. The Barn and Orangery are simply stunning and all of our guests commented on what a beautiful venue it is. Lily was our wedding planner and she is simply amazing! We got married at High House on the 4th September and we cannot recommend the venue enough to any future couple getting married. From the moment we first saw the venue and met Lily we knew this was our special place. Everyone is professional and friendly and they make you feel part of the High House family. Everyone said positive things about you and you made our day even more special. We love you. And shout out to the DJ who was unbelievable! He made our reception so fun. I loved how he blended everyones music choices so well. The chef was amazing, everyone loved the food and I need the recipe for the curry! The venue is beautiful and the staff are incredible, so friendly and attentive. We can't thank the team enough for everything they did. A huge thank you to Harriette, Hayley & Ella who were amazing from start to finish. Harriette was so lovely and she made the day run so seamless and completely stress free. Hayley was amazing with my little girl who was causing a little bit of mischief hahOUTSTANDING!!! We recently got married at High House in July 2025 and the day was nothing short of perfect. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We could never choose just one, as we have had so many amazing weddings here and they all unique. We absolutely love helping couples put their own special touches on the venue and making the day their own.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Think about what you want for your day and not what you 'think' you should have. We really encourage our couples to think about what they love and enjoy and make those things part of their day.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our brides had sadly lost her dad not long before her wedding day. She wanted to have something here that would remind her of her dad throughout the day, he loved fishing so she set up a chair and fishing rod next to our pond which overlooks our reception drinks space. It was a lovely touch to remember her dad.

Exclusive, idyllic, elegant, romantic and unique.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
We love the vineyard, it's a favourite for our couples. We also have our weeping willow tree in front of our of beautiful Monet inspired bridge. Photographers are always mentioning how beautiful our landscape is and how they are spoilt for choice for photo opportunities!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes, but we wouldn't want to mention names!
What’s your favourite canapé?
It's difficult to choose just one as we have a fantastic selection that suits so many different styles and tastes!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Loaded fries is such a popular choice for your evening food!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The stunning gardens are definitely a favourite unique feature, but we are most excited to be introducing our brand new Orangery for wedding receptions in 2025.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are proud of each and every staff member who works here, we receive such amazing feedback from couples and their guests about how helpful and friendly everyone is.
