The Ballroom at The Kings Head boasts a fine space, featuring amazing Georgian Era Architecture, with it's high ceilings, and a beautiful sweeping staircase, for a fairytale-esque feel to your Wedding. Seating up to 120 guests, and a private bar, and a spring ballroom dancefloor, it's the perfect venue for a dream wedding, with all your family & friends. The Kings Room offers an intimate experience, for those wanting a small ceremony for just close family & friends. Located on the first floor, it overlooks the historic cobbled market town place, and in close proximity to our upstairs bar, and the gorgeous bridal suite, where you can spend your first night of eternity together. We also have the benefit of a dedicated Wedding Coordinator, who will work with you, and the entire team at The Kings Head Richmond, to create the Wedding of your dreams. Service, is at the very heart of what we do here at The Kings Head. We're proud to have won Hotel Group of The Year 2023/24 at The AA Hospitality Awards. Our focus is on our guests, and ensuring they have the best possible experience. Our kitchen has a range of options to cater for you on your special team. We had our wedding here few days ago. It was so wonderful could not off asked for a better day. Staff and management was brilliant and couldn't do anymore for us and guests. To start with all reviews before the renovation in July 2016 I'd simply forget about and ignore. I got married on the 20th of August and had every aspect of the wedding held here . This place is simply amazing since the refurb and we have some amazing wedding pictures that we're taken within the hotel on the way . Plush and modern is very much a understatement . If anybody is looking at having their wedding here , get on the phone and book a date . I came to the hotel for a wedding with my family. First of all, the hotel and room are lovely ! Absolutely superb ! Very clean and cosy . I love the decoration! My fiancé and I went downstairs to the bar to celebrate with the rest of the family, we had lovely drinks. My mocktails were absolutely delicious, well done to Tom!! which in fact went above and beyond to make sure that all of us were ok! He was very accommodating to our requests and also very respectful when we had to remind us to ke...I came to the hotel for a wedding with my family. First of all, the hotel and room are lovely ! Really lovely hotel, here for a wedding. The reception was so friendly and helpful on arrival. Room was gorgeous, very quaint and more spacious than expected. Kettle and coffee maker in the room with bottles of water. Bathroom was clean, walk in shower and lovely shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Fluffy dressing gowns that we didn’t use but if I stayed again I probably would. Breakfast was lovely, again great service and plenty of choice.
