The Kings Head Hotel, Cirencester

I cannot express enough how wonderful our wedding day was at Kings Head Hotel, Cirencester. I feel truly grateful to have had the most magical day we could ever have hoped for. From the first meeting, Daisy was warm and welcoming and an absolute pleasure to deal with during our planning process.

We really wanted a winter wedding as well as having something to celebrate after Christmas and we did just that! Daisy is the friendliest person you’ll ever meet, she is your wedding best friend! All of the staff were amazing on the day as they made us feel so special! The canapés - I was nervous that we wouldn’t be able to have our own canapés because we’d be busy with photos however, the team had our own plate full made for us! The Vaulted Cellar is the most incredible room for a party!

We chose to have our vows renewed at the Kings Head Hotel in July as this is our favourite place for a night away and have stayed as an overnight guest quite a few times. The treatment we get here by the warming friendly staff is amazing, they recognise us and make us feel like the Kings Head family, along with our doggy Simba!

We loved every minute of our perfect winter wedding at the Kings Head Hotel. From the very beginning, Daisy was wonderful, very responsive to queries and guided us through the whole process. We used many of her recommended suppliers and could see why they were so highly thought of, but we were also able to use our own suppliers which not every venue allows. We opted to have our ceremony and wedding breakfast in the Assembly Room, which has a nice elegant wedding feel.

Our wedding at the Kings Head Hotel was an absolute dream! Daisy was absolutely amazing, it wouldn’t have been possible without her. Daisy was so so helpful, nothing was too much, she made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted and it was perfect for us! She was like a friend to me, helping me when I was getting stressed and answering all my questions even the silly little ones! On the day, Daisy kept me calm and talked me through everything.

From the beginning to end, we were treated with the most attention and care. Daisy met us with the warmest welcome and we instantly felt at ease with her and not under any pressure unlike other venues we visited. Finally our day came and what an incredible day it was. Hotel rooms were fantastic, food fantastic, ceremony room was incredible. At no point did we have any worries or concerns, everything went so smoothly thanks to Daisy and the staff.

As for the venue - it is the best of both worlds. We had our ceremony and wedding breakfast in the assembly rooms - perfectly elegant and beautiful and the evening down in the vaulted cellars, the perfect space for live music/wedding DJ. Honestly, if you’re looking for somewhere that you can host an entire wedding but still be a little different, this is one hundred percent the space for you. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Our wedding day was incredible, couldn't have asked for more! Daisy was absolutely incredible all the way through the process and handled everything (and us!) with kindness, humour, compassion, patience and knowledge. The team working our wedding was also amazing including Carly helping (with Daisy) to set up and also Jamie, the barman. The food was so delicious, people were saying the best beef they've ever had. The rooms themselves were also gorgeous! Honestly we couldn't be happier. Thank you

From the moment we walked into our first appointment with Daisy, we immediately knew it was the one. We never even visited another venue. An absolutely beautiful quirky hotel with such character. The assembly room is STUNNING. Such a picture perfect room that exudes elegance and class. For our evening reception, we chose the ‘vaulted cellar’ a completely different vibe and allowed us to portray the party side of us.

We had an amazing day, best decision by booking our wedding with KHH. So many guests commented on how great the day was, with a few saying it was the best wedding they’d ever been to! Our wedding was on a Sunday, and was the 3rd wedding at the hotel across that weekend and the staff still handled everything with such professionalism and dedication, helping me and my husband feel at ease. Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff!
